It’s hot out! Hot! Hot! Hot! Now hot is okay when you can laze about, but not for working…so I like to dress to stay cool such as this lovely cotton print dress from Lelutka. It’s designed to keep me feeling cool while only looking hot.
So on Sunday, I was trying to get to The Velvet for Maht’s set and my tp’s failed and failed and failed. I got a lovely thank you IM from Antonsperandeo Allen of Behavior Body for my post featuring his animations and asked for a TP to see if I could get untrapped. Well, I was able to leave the Spa, but now I was stuck on the Baiastice sim. So, I start clicking every LM I have trying to find one that gets me away… and whoosh, I end up at Tuli right in front of this dress and was like, “Forget the music, I want that dress!!!” And that’s how I ended up finding it.

I have some familiarity with Behavior Body poses and am fond of the Elegance/Garbo AO which I sometimes use to shoot photos in no rez/no script sims as its stands are modish and fashion-oriented. But I was very surprised to be asked by Antosperandeo Allen, the posemaker, if I would like to try out one of his Runway Model Huds and possibly feature it in my blog.
I explained to him that I don’t do runway modeling and am no expert. I gave him the names of several runway models who blog and said they would be much better at it than me. I guess he likes honesty, because then he said he would give them to me anyway AND send all three, if I didn’t mind. Now, really? Who would mind?
So, ease of use. There are 12 poses and 12 numbers. You click on a number and your posing. That’s easy. You can click on this colored square and it changes the orientation of the list of numbers. It’s like Quick Huddles in how it feels and operates. As to the poses, they are very naturalistic. You will not look like Auntie Mame having a DIVA moment, but like a modern modish woman, strutting her stuff. After the cut, I have, for my sins, made composites to show you all 36 animations in the pose position at the end of the animation. Oh…and you can turn your head and orient your gaze. A beautiful, though sorrowful, event is going on – the literal SwanSong of the Black Swan sim. Like other Rezzable sims that all of us have loved, it will be leaving us shortly. But, it’s going out in glory with a SwanSong of artistic inspiration and design – a sale of skin, clothing, jewelry and even some houses inspired by Black Swan sim and the the elements. This glorious dress is Zaara Kohime’s inspired homage to the sim.
No, we’re not going to start popping and locking and dancing hip hop. The B is in reference to Blowpop and Baiastice – two of our fashion addictions. Both Gidge and I are wearing blowpop skins and then new Group gift from Baiastice – a gold, silver and white short cocktail dress that we each mashed up in different directions.
