I did an inventory search and came up with this dress from e! which seemed to be the perfect match for Patina! I also downloaded the newest Firestorm viewer and low and behold I could shoot SHADOWS and not lag!!!!
You have no idea how happy that makes me… I have an ATI graphics card and it seems SL and shadows do not like ATI cards… until now (shhhh don’t tell anyone lest they take it away).
My pixel day started simply enough. Handwash some lingerie for Valentines Day and hang it up to dry, and then I thought “Oh Self, I’ll try out this new mesh hair from Exile and from Truth.” Because you know new hair = happy girl.
So I put on three new hairs that Exile has released, including Domino which is for the Juicy “Crush On You” event, and I was very oooo new mesh hair omg love it happy.
You know. You do it too so SHUT UP.
And then I put on my new Truth hair. And one went on nicely, and ONE DIDN’T. And not matter what I DID IT DIDN’T WORK. There were tears. There was invisible hair. I switched viewers. I switched back again. So I plurked it. After much discussion it seemed that a lot of the fashionistas were finding the Truth hair to be invisible. THIS SEEMED WRONG.
Until our friend Skittles piped up and said “You have to ADD the mesh and the Flexi.”
FACEPALM.
Yes the new Truth Hair JANEY you Wear one-either the flexi or the mesh, THEN ADD the other they go together. Yeah my avatar just turned five. Not my first day.
Janey is on the left, and is worth the facepalm. Totally.
Also I’ve been cruising marketplace. The Lingerie is FREE from Insolence, and you need the Candy Hearts Belly ring I am pretty sure. It’s like 10L and worth every penny. 🙂

I love Drowsy. The two designers that play there (BettiePage** and Kurotsubaki) have a vision that is always steeped in Hayao Miyazaki levels of mythic creepiness. The sim’s been redone. There are a few structures left on their land, but the forest is overtaking it, and soon all of the beauty and art will be swallowed up by the trees. The sim won’t be around for long (in the words of Robert Frost, nothing gold can stay). But if you manage to catch it, you can find a few bits that help preserve the memory. I’ve got the puppet theater, and the message in the bottle, and a line of toy rabbits, and other odds and ends. I’ll miss you, Drowsy. Please return soon? (Visit Drowsy)

Mesh and Frillies and Makeup OH MY! So many new goodies have been released this week I just can’t keep up. Elikatira finally released one of the sweetest hairs called Abbey. The store was packed when I picked it up, I bought it and got the hell outta there. If you are into makeups that are on the unique side, I suggest Nuuna’s Skins. She is so very creative. I’m wearing Zion in grey in the pictures.
Well, I don’t have a ponytail, but I do have a wiggle in my walk, so long as my AO is turned on. I picked this up from Tres Blah at Collabor88 last time – not this time, so don’t get too excited. I have been wearing it the last couple days and thought it worth blogging simply because the quality of the work on this dress is exciting.
