Giz Seom goes big. Look at the size of that print and of those sleeves. That is the hallmark of a designer confident and unafraid to take risks. I love the floral chintz fabric even though in careless hands it could look like a sofa cushion or the remnants of curtains ripped from the windows to make a gown to impress a certain dashing gentleman. But these are not careless hands, so it looks bold, fresh and ready to conquer.

A Little Splurge
I have been eyeballing this bedroom set from LAQ Decor for some time. And since it has been at least, oh, a week, since I ordered new furniture I decided WHAT the heck and clicked BUY on marketplace to have it delivered. I bought the PG version, because it was slightly cheaper – I believe it was around 999L and my husband is off in Azeroth so I won’t need a sexy times bed. Continue reading
Its All About the NAILS!
After finding out that Glam Affair had the SLINK appliers for hands and feet, I bit the bullet and got the Mesh hands from SLINK…. and since I’m such a nail fanatic, I just had to find the best Nail Applier HUDs I could and my search brought me to…… Nine Inch Nails!
continued after the cut….

It Was A Dark And Stormy Night – In Paris
If you aren’t a 20 something and you hearken back to your youth, you’ll remember that back in the day in the Peanuts cartoons, Snoopy was often working on his book. His book always begins “It was a dark and stormy night…”. What you might not know is that there is an entire, long running fiction contest centered around this premise – beginning terrible fiction with the phrase IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT.
I actually once purchased a compendium of the Bulwer -Lytton contest entries and laughed for days reading it. It’s one of the seminal phrases in American faux literature, and when I rezzed Barnesworth Anubis new skybox for Collabor88 – my first thought was OMG IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT. Continue reading
Your Morning Upskirt
I was taking some snaps as I had my breakfast this morning when I realized something amazing about my new skirt from BAIASTICE for The Boutique event that, THE INSIDE IS TEXTURED!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG! I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE clothing with invisible insides. It looks crazy in photographs in certain poses and I never know when I’m going to suddenly have a huge invisible patch that causes me to throw away a photo.
THANK YOU SISSY PESSOA for texturing the INSIDE of your mesh clothes. Continue reading
A Walk In the Woods

One of the best things about growing up where I did was the 3.5 mile walk from the school bus stop to my house. Granted, I did not always appreciate that walk, particularly if it was raining and muddy or bitterly cold. But I often cut a mile or so off the walk by cutting through the woods. The trail I walked was made by deer, so it was not quite so wide as this one, but it was pretty clear considering deer don’t use bulldozers. There is a kind of quiet in the woods that is different from the quiet of walking down the road – even though there is no traffic on the road. Your footsteps are muffled by the soft humus of the ground, the wind is muffled by the trees and time seems to stand still. This little stretch of road through the woods at Miniascape reminds me so much of that quiet stillness.

I am feeling delightfully and romantically feminine today with the floral skirt from Baiastice – just released for The Liaison Collaborative and the sheer lace top from Vogue. Both items were just released and seem to have been made for each other, even though they were not. I decided to shoot this front and back because the top, being sheer, has no alpha and wanted to assure readers that the fit is perfection.

A walk in the woods
Hi there, I’m Mouse Mimistrobell, and I guess this would be my first post on It’s Only Fashion! I like clothes, I like fashion and so, Cajsa and Gidge were lovely enough to invite me to post on their blog quite a while ago. So even though I am embarrassed to take so long, I finally got down to it. I was inspired by a couple of things, and being a slow burn, it takes me a while to have all the pieces come together. I picked up this sweater at the dressing room, and held on to it for a bit. Something about the yellow and animal print appealed to me, though I hate the alpha. Of course I hate all alphas, so it’s not a deal breaker. A couple of days later, I saw a pair of jeans on sale and they were peach! Well they also seemed to work anyways, so I kept going with it. Then I pulled out a Tres Blah skin that looked ‘just a tad’ tarty, and wow the whole thing just worked, and there you go. I took these pictures in a gorgeous sim that was the first one I came across in the SL Destination Guide today. Yeah, I’m creative like that! I called it a walk in the woods after a favorite old children’s book of mine, and I imagine it’s a late spring evening, chilly enough for a scarf. I hope you like!

I Don’t Care I Do What I Want
Sock and hose together? I don’t care I do what I want! Bag doesn’t match shoes? I don’t care, I do what I want!
I had Eric Cartman in my mind as I put on my gacha prizes from The Chapter Four, yeah I’m still going on about that. I like taking all the gacha things and then wearing them all together. It’s like a sport to me. Continue reading
Swing Swing Swing
I love jackets. I am always on the hunt for a good jacket that will work with other mesh items that have not been made as part of a set. While browsing through Marketplace, I came across this wonderful houndstooth swing jacket from Legal Insanity and knew I had to have it. I know it would be wearable with other mesh. I did have to go one size larger so that the shirt would not poke through in the back, but I didn’t need to add the alpha to get it to work. This jacket has an array of stunning details such as the black and white edging that outlines the entire jacket and the collar. The single black button keeps it together while letting it fall into the swing that gives it its name. The jacket comes in several solid colors, including many brights, but I love this classic houndstooth.
The top is from NYU and comes in several colors. It comes with the contrasting bow and has such beautiful classic style. I added the fun high-waisted mini from Maitreya in white, keeping myself to a monochromatic scheme. Continue reading
