I missed the BOSL VoguE fashion show earlier this month – since my computer is hating groups of more than 3 people – I am missing all the shows. Still, I saw the collection on the VoguE web site and am in love with the bright, colorful exuberance. The collection is being released for sale one by one over several weeks for those of us who missed the post-show sale and one of my favorites from the collection was released this week. Is this just not a festival for your eyes?

I couldn’t resist checking out LEA13 between Honour McMillan’s post and Cajsa already being there and insisting that it was amazing. I wasn’t prepared for the stark beauty or the enchanting whimsy the place would inspire. Cajsa loved it so much she sent some blasts that people should come join us.

I thought there was a nip in the air the other day. Turns out it might have been early flu symptoms, but whatever the reason, feeling chilly in real life got me seeking comfy, cozy in Second Life® so I put on the layers. I began this outfit with this gorgeous mesh jacket from La Penderie de Nicole. La Penderie de Nicole is a new store for me, but the designer Marcopol Oh is someone whose photography I have admired for a long time. The houndstooth print is gorgeous and I love the little trace of red dashing through it.
First time buyers may feel some hesitation because we are accustomed to either a one-item boxed Pay vendor or a Buy vendor with all the items. Seeing the landmark and 1 item in the Buy window, I wondered for a moment whether there was an error in setting up the vendor, but never fear, it’s just that the many size options were all boxed and added with the landmark.
The only thing worse than Monday is Tuesday. I slept too long, dawdled too long and ended up racing to get ready for my pixel day. Continue reading

It’s so funny that Acha, Gidge and I all independently decided to blog these gorgeous shorts from Ingenue today. I feel like I need to pull out a timestamp and say, b-b-b-but I shot them yesterday. But you know what? It doesn’t matter that we all wore the same shorts, if you look at these three posts they are all so very different. From Acha’s high camp to Gidge’s casual chic to my classic style, we all took a different approach to the same shorts and came up with very different looks. You can find the shorts in several colors at Collabor88 and they are a don’t miss item.
When I was wearing that gorgeous purple dress yesterday, I thought this fabulously chic coat that will soon be released by Drift would go so well with it. Certainly, I would wear the two together in a heart beat. The pumpkin of the coat is complementary to the wine in the dress and they would be a natural color combination. Alas, even pairing a large coat with a XS dress, parts of the dress came through in the back and in the elbows. Sure, I could shoot pictures with straight arms facing forward, hiding those flaws, but then as soon as you wore, you would know that the pics were misleading. So the coat needs to be worn with system clothing – a good reason to save the best of your system clothes despite the switch to mesh.
