Looking Good While Doing Good

I hope you spend some of this weekend at Fashion For Life and the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser. I know sometimes folks are reluctant to go because they think with so many people there will be a lot of lag. That has not been my experience. I hopped over to Bourke White last night to shoot these pictures and had no troubles with lag or rezzing even with my graphics cranked. I checked the map before going and went to the sim with the fewest people, but I don’t think any of the sims were full except, perhaps, Avalon, where there was a dance. Additionally, at Fashion For Life have incorporated many strategies to reduce lag to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

AM Radio made some major changes at Tusk. It’s now underwater, but still beautiful and evocative. Here I am inside the little building on the pier looking out at the water and enjoying the warm sun streaming in the window. It looks like  it will be a lovely day. I hope so because I forgot to bring a jacket.

Custom Maid (and a freebie)

So I am running around to all the Kraftika shops last night, hoping there’s something new because I love, love, love their jewelry. Sadly, there wasn’t anything new. However, one of the shops happened to be upstairs in the Xtreme Relooking shop where the owner, Myriam Republic was there. She kindly showed me where the store was and we got to talking. Myriam and her partner make custom shapes and skins and darn it anyway, if I didn’t end up walking out of there with this skin with a custom makeup she made while I waited.
