As much as I like to be a fancy Barbie, I have to admit I love casual clothes which seems pointless as I have tons of them in real life. But, I do. Pink Outfitters has always been one of my favorite places for separates, and I am remembering what I love about that shop with these jeans and cool summer sweater.

There is no such thing as too many jeans, and despite the fact that I have a bajillion pairs I always want NEW jeans, so I am going to add Pink Outfitters to my list of awesome creators of cute jeans. Continue reading →

This one’s from Weather or Not (!WorN?), for the Crazy Hair Hunt, and it made me reminisce about the old squid hat that Gritty Kitty created for an ancient Koreshan bake sale. (Gosh, who remembers that?) The two items are much different, though. The WorN one is beautiful and elegant (beyond all imagination, who’d’a thought an octo-hat would be elegant!), and the Gritty Kitty one is adorable. I’ll have to dig it out and show you guys sometime… Anyway, I do believe I have my next Illusions Masque outfit alllll picked out…

But, candy and eggs are good no matter what time of year right? RIGHT!

Personally, I think that Easter Candy should be given out for PMS like prescriptions. “Eat one Cadbury Egg an hour until  you feel happy.”

I’m totally Buddhist (being half Asian and all), but in an American non-secular way I ABSOLUTELY stand behind any holiday that endorses eating awesome food and giving away lots of chocolate. No, I am not feeling blue, just wearing blue – and sitting on blue. The blue cardigan is from Leverocci. I picked it up when I was thinking my outfit from The Sea Hole looked a bit chilly for the weather we were having. The chair is from RnB and is a Wear Gray event item. It has 9 sit animations in it with a good mix of realistic male and female options. I love the retro styling. It reminds me of this fabulous couch I bought at a rummage sale that was that same electric blue and also a 60s vintage in pristine condition. I bet they kept it in plastic covers. It was 75 inches long and I loved it. Unfortunately, my dog would chew on the legs a bit, so I bought some bitter apple and sprayed the entire couch so she would leave it alone. Big mistake! I came home after work to a house with floors 6 inches deep in couch batting and fabric and the only fabric and stuffing still on the counch the little bits near the staples and upholstery nails that she could not chew off. It went from fully upholstered to wood and springs with one spray of bitter apple. When I saw this chair, I felt a pang of nostalgia for that magnificent couch and for that damned dog.

Stopped by Juicy

I picked up the lovely outfit at My Attic at The Deck last week and just am getting around to wearing it. It is such a happy outfit, that I decided to go to the lovely beachfront sim Juicy that seemed sure to suit the mood of the dress – and of course it did. Those shoes you see are from Gos – his espadrilles that came out right about the time Viewer 2 got rid of invisiprims, so they are are current as if they had been released yesterday.

The Disco Deals Bazaar opens today and Sn@tch has put out a cute springy Catalina skirt and top set that’s sweet and swishy for summer.

I’m also still wearing the Jada shape from LD Shapes because she’s a pretty girl and also for sale at Disco Deals bazaar this weekend.

Catalina comes in a combo of muted pretty hot weather days. The colors and textures remind me of raw silk or linen, cool fabrics for hot summer days in the south.
