Oh, autocorrect does not like puns! Every time I type faMESHed it corrects it to famished. Well, it’s that time again when your hunger for mesh can be satisfied with a trip to the fabulous faMESHed showroom. I am taken with this leather dress from Baiastice featuring a delicate cut out collar. It comes in several solid colors as well as four colorblocked options. I tossed on a jacket from House of Fox because it’s a bit chilly in these parts. I am wearing a large jacket over a medium dress. For some reason, a medium jacket over a small or even xs or xxs dress does not work and portions of the dress show through at the back and shoulders. The only size jacket to work is the large. However, my own shape is medium, so it works for me. And that is why you demo when you shop for items to mix and match with other mesh.

Cajsa’s Fast Five: March 2nd
Today I am going to take advantage of this space to direct you to an article I wrote elsewhere, but since the point of the Fast Five is to highlight the cool, interesting, amazing and important posts of other people, I will make it a Fast Six for today.
- What I Like #90 is my article at Shopping Cart Disco. Normally this column focuses on a few select pictures that caught my eye recently and which I think illustrate great composition. This column, though, is full of suggestions for Second Life’s staff on how they could diversity their front page.
- The Drax Files – World Makers. Strawberry Singh does a great introduction to a new video series about Second Life that highlights the creators of our world. If you don’t smile when you hear why he began making trees, you haven’t an ounce of romance in your soul.
- Ashasekayi Ra – This offering from Ashasekayi Ra for the Connecting: 365 Lives project really speaks to me about what matters in Second Life, the community of people and the care, support and friendship we offer each other.
- Challenge Gallery 29: Almost. This week’s edition of Single Frame Stories is up with a dozen interpretations inspired by the word Almost.
- My Little Walrus from Jill Narstrom is so sweet it will make your teeth hurt. I will definitely be buying that jacket.
- Learning to Walk Again from Jolene McAndrews is great for two reasons. I think the hi-top shoes are adorable and according to the post, you can customize them six ways to Sunday. However, what I love most is the clever way McAndrews found to show off the shoes. Kudos for creativity.
While the Gacha is Good
I gotta admit I’m a fan. I suppose it’s the fun of the hunt, the elusive object we desire that keeps us tossing our lindens in the machines – desperately wanting the ONE thing versus the other.
I confess, I love the gacha. Continue reading
Cajsa’s Fast Five: March 1st
You will like this, look at the shoulders.
Sasy Scarborough who organized My Attic at The Deck invited me over for a peek about 30 minutes before the event opened and pointed to this dress and said, “You will like this, look at the shoulders.” Well, I finally got back to go buy it the other day and here I am wearing it with only a few hours before it closes. The dress is sleek and stylish and it does have beautifully shaped shoulders with silver studs. I don’t know why, but it got me hauling out the breastplate and other pieces of the Hydra set from Rozoregalia to push it from the Pop theme to a more hard edged Rock and Roll feel.

Cajsa’s Fast Five: February 28th
Five posts worth taking the time to check out. There is a relatively important one assessing the state of the mesh deformer and of course, ones great styling and pictures. There’s also an excellent article looking at the death of Elisa Lam though personal experience.
- 73 from Thalia Heckroth is a witty video preview of upcoming Arcade items combined with Heckroth’s always striking and beautifully shot photography and filming. Continue reading

Bright Lights, Big City
I am slightly addicted to pose props, particularly pose sets that come complete with the background, props and poses all in one gorgeous picture frame of goodness. That’s why I look forward the the photo boxes that Whimsy Winx releases for My Addict each time around. I had a lot of fun with the Bright Lights box, particularly after pulling out my own bright lights or projectors.
Cajsa’s Fast Five: February 27th
The Fast Five is a small collection of current blog posts that I think are outstanding for one reason or another, whether great photos, useful information or good writing.
- Rusty from Steffy Ghost has a fun, witty picture that will make you smile. It’s been nearly a month since she’s blogged, so I am glad to see she’s back and back with wit and style!

Confessions: Lust
Today I am wearing the seventh of the Seven Sins Gacha skins from PXL Creations, Lust. In one of those strange moments of synchronicity, PXL’s Seven Sins was released at the same time as Buckcherry’s Confessions which includes their own version of the Seven Sins. Some of the songs work beautifully with the skins while others are more difficult. I thought these few lines from Lust by Buckcherry worked well for my photo set.
