My favorite thing about the DSN network is when I find a new store I really like. That happened when this adorable dress from Tasty fell on me the other night. The minute I put it on I have to check out the store, too, and found gorgeous and hotter than hot 60’s style dresses that I expect you will see more of as people find their way to Tasty. What a well named store because these are tasty little dresses. And don’t these shoes from R2 just work perfectly?

Sweet Sunday
I love how wildly you can change your entire persona by merely changing clothes and hairstyles. Take off some black leather and put on some batiste and tulle. Comb out the teasing and put in some pigtails. Change the boots for some sandals and in a few minutes you can go from biker chick to girly-girl. In real life, most of us don’t have a broad enough wardrobe to dress in a dozen personas, but in SL – there seems to be no limit. It’s one of the real pleasures of our new world.
And speaking of girly-girl. Is there any place more girly-girl than Hal*Hina? Just look at the lace on that sleeve. Yummy!

And Excited is what I am to be out of bed. WHERE HAS GIDGE BEEN? Well, she’s on bedrest. So, she can’t be up and about. But she’s had a really good 24 hours so she’s taking the liberty of an hour or two to sit up – and her back in RL is screaming to GET OUT OF BED so that is exactly what I am doing. Continue reading
Serendipity @ Tuli
So on Sunday, I was trying to get to The Velvet for Maht’s set and my tp’s failed and failed and failed. I got a lovely thank you IM from Antonsperandeo Allen of Behavior Body for my post featuring his animations and asked for a TP to see if I could get untrapped. Well, I was able to leave the Spa, but now I was stuck on the Baiastice sim. So, I start clicking every LM I have trying to find one that gets me away… and whoosh, I end up at Tuli right in front of this dress and was like, “Forget the music, I want that dress!!!” And that’s how I ended up finding it.
Quick Look: Aboriginal
The Aboriginal Dress from Tres Jolie is hot and sexy and wow, does it look good with the new Maitrya Ixkin sandals.
Dany French touch peut etre
Every once in a while I come across a store and love so much of it, I have a virtual spending spree. That happened yesterday when I went to Dany French touch peut etre and bought several outfits – that ranged from 1 to 150L in price, so a spree that did not break my bank. Surprisingly, a while later I got an IM from the creator thanking me for shopping and gifting me with this lovely dress. She said nothing about blogging, just a thanks for shopping – but I will mark it as promotional just in case. I had to check it out immediately and just loved it. The store is in 2nd place in the creator levye Shippe’s picks and you should go there even if you’re not in the mood to shop because she has made such a beautiful place. Be sure to explore the grounds – they are lovely.
Summer Dress from Elate!

It’s difficult to ever be disappointed by Kelli Iwish of ELATE! Her dresses are cute and festive and she almost always has something too precious out new and/or for free!
I can’t think of a single time I’ve been disappointed, truth be told. Continue reading
Slacking
I may have been slacking this weekend in terms of posting but only because I worked a hellacious weekend in RL – 14 hour days in 105 weather than had me so tired that if I were not at work, I was asleep. However, I have three days off now and can catch up a bit. This is something similar to what I planned to wear for the conference this weekend before the weather went crazy. It has the professional look I like and is layered with a camisole underneath. The pants, from Lelutka, are a bit of a surprise.

I GIVE YOU – PRIM LASHES!
Gogo said on plurk she won’t take a blogger seriously if they don’t wear prim lashes. I heart Gogo, but I had a melt down because I have NEVER been able to get prim lashes right. So I had a fit about it. Continue reading
Charmeuse
My favorite fabric is charmeuse – a thick heavy and soft as rainwater silk. My favorite piece of clothing in real life is a vintage robe of apricot charmeuse with heavy raised embroidery – apricot on apricot so the bodice holds its shape. I just has to say, silk charmeuse sliding on naked skin is yummy. This dress from Baiastice is charmeuse and honestly when you wear something to wonderful to touch and feel, it’s a crime to wear something underneath it. A Crime!!!
