Adam & Eve is one of those stores I NEVER shop at enough. I don’t know why. Maybe because it’s not one of those stores that got ingrained in me when I was a noob. It’s certainly not for lack of quality – it’s lovely stuff. And it’s not because of the creator being a jerk – far from it – Sachi Vixen has never been anything but lovely to me.
Why do I always forget to shop there? I have to rectify it. Note to self, go back to Adam & Eve tonight and find something pretty!

So my only two trips to Vegas were via the company I worked for, business trips of various sorts. Despite that, I got to look from my “I’m just here on business with no cash for nutty stuff” point of view at some of the legendary Vegas activities.
Such as, prostitution!
The last time I went,our company rented out the entire Treasure Island/Mirage hotel complex (ahem yeah it was a big company) and put up every manager and above from around the world.
One of my two favorite moments in Vegas came in the casino by the elevators to the tower rooms at the Treasure Island. I step off the elevator and walk toward the bar, where the president of my division (my boss) is seated, chatted up by this bejeweled girl in bright green. Continue reading

I’m not normally a big fan of “natural” makeups on skins, that au natural look that is so 2008. But some people do it well. My first thought when trying on Rykers Genesis-Eden skin in the 1st Time makeup was – Beach Face!
Ok ok ok, it’s not SL Beach Face.
But, it’s sort of MY beach face. In RL. Pale skin, freckled by the sun, pink lips – clear complexion. It’s obviously meant to convey a very natural wholesome beauty and I think that Ryker really achieved that with this – giving definition and form to what is often a washed out nude on other skins. So wandering around Zaara I spied her collection of dresses from the Amsterdam Fashion Week and as one who covets that which they do not possess (such as the ability to ever attend runway events bcse of their times) I knew I had to have one of them.
I picked up Melissa and ran back to my house to accessorize it, in love with the slink line (very Oscar de la Renta from a time before you pixels were born) and simplicity of color blocking.

You find precious few people to respect on the grid. Oh don’t get me wrong – I always find LOTS of people to LIKE. But I’m a bit drawn to rakes and ruffians of various ilk -so the grid really is like mother’s milk in that department.
But when you talk about RESPECT, people with true ethics and who “do the right thing” well….ok they’re few and far between. Which is why I’m giving a shout out to my friend Sasy Scarborough, the creator of the shoes on my feet. Sasy is one of those people, that after I have a moment where my only response is *BLINK* – I IM Sasy and say “SASY! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?”
Or “Sasy, why does this look this way? Is this INTENTIONAL what the hell?”
