Kala of Material Squirrel is holding a hunt! Fifteen colors of the wings I’m wearing are scattered around her store (which has forever and always in my years of SL been located here), and you can find them if you poke around a lot. I found three different colors, all with the wonderful scripting that makes Kala’s wings so playful, and I’m going back for more riiight…now.

I was amazed to see that this gorgeous, sleek modern furniture set is out at Collabor88 from Trompe Loeil, for 88L which includes 18 pieces – everything you see here is available in multiple colors so you can mix and match or have everything one color, as it suits you.
I love furniture that is sleek yet inviting. Me and my kitty slippers are huge fans of this chair.
The furniture is made of mesh. I am loving how gorgeous mesh furniture is. I had the same furniture for almost four years. It’s amazing how much everything has changed since I became a furniture addict.
I might live in this skybox for a while. I truly might.
Monica Outlander of MiaMai knows how to make a sexy gown and she used all her mad skills at once when producing this red hawt number. There’s the low back, the front-crossed halter and the deep keyhole bodice, the skin tight torso and hips and the subtle mermaid flare at the bottom. Any one of the elements add sex appeal and glam to a gown, all of them at once makes that gown smoke. The gown is called Kleo and comes in an flaming hot rainbow of colors. The dress has additional embellishments of diamonds and feathers at the hip and neck, but I left those off because I love how just the form of the dress itself is so very sexy.

I like red, white and black – or shades of gray and red. When I put this outfit together, for some reason that childhood riddle popped into my head. If for some reason, you don’t know the answer, it’s a newspaper. I wonder if the internet will make that riddle obsolete? Anyway, I am black and white and red all over with this outfit made with pieces from Peqe’s summer and Christmas collection and a sweater from Alexohol. The sweater is lovely and I love the quirky irregularity of the buttons that remind me of when I have sewn on buttons. The top is from Peqe’s Christmas release and I love it with the flared pants from Summer.

I love fabric with prints and patterns. I especially love the tone on tone patters like this print in Chantkare’s new Shirpa dress. To me, tone on tone patterns have a subtlety that multicolor patterns don’t have – but yet they are lively and add so much to a dress. This is a particularly brilliant example showing the effect of using a tone and then again, as though the fabric were turned to the other side.
