I’m starting to have a crush on Butterfly Effect Design, the outfit I’m wearing called Elena goes perfectly with this new hair from Lamb. Growing up in the Minnesota Northwoods, Mardi Gras was not something I paid much attention to. I had Catholic friends and knew all about Ash Wednesday, but there were never any big parties the night before. Can you imagine Marge and Norm Gunderson or Jerry Lundegaard dancing down the street while jazz was played by live musicians? Can you imagine live musicians marching down any street in Minnesota playing something other then Minnesota, Hail to Thee or the localized version of On Wisconsin? It’s not that there were no Catholics in the Northwoods, but they were Scandinavian Catholics which made them act more like Lutherans anyway. It worked the same with the Baptists like my family. You may see lots of movies with those Baptist gospel choirs and dancing in the pews, but not the Scandinavian Baptists. They might sing gospel songs, but with all the fervor of Sheldon Cooper. So, any interest in Mardi Gras would have been anthropological – an examination of the rites and practices of some foreign country, like Louisiana.

I did an inventory search and came up with this dress from e! which seemed to be the perfect match for Patina! I also downloaded the newest Firestorm viewer and low and behold I could shoot SHADOWS and not lag!!!!
You have no idea how happy that makes me… I have an ATI graphics card and it seems SL and shadows do not like ATI cards… until now (shhhh don’t tell anyone lest they take it away).
My pixel day started simply enough. Handwash some lingerie for Valentines Day and hang it up to dry, and then I thought “Oh Self, I’ll try out this new mesh hair from Exile and from Truth.” Because you know new hair = happy girl.
So I put on three new hairs that Exile has released, including Domino which is for the Juicy “Crush On You” event, and I was very oooo new mesh hair omg love it happy.
You know. You do it too so SHUT UP.
And then I put on my new Truth hair. And one went on nicely, and ONE DIDN’T. And not matter what I DID IT DIDN’T WORK. There were tears. There was invisible hair. I switched viewers. I switched back again. So I plurked it. After much discussion it seemed that a lot of the fashionistas were finding the Truth hair to be invisible. THIS SEEMED WRONG.
Until our friend Skittles piped up and said “You have to ADD the mesh and the Flexi.”
FACEPALM.
Yes the new Truth Hair JANEY you Wear one-either the flexi or the mesh, THEN ADD the other they go together. Yeah my avatar just turned five. Not my first day.
