Magpie

I swear I am like a magpie sometimes. Flash some bright color my way and I am there! That certainly is how the Landa dress from Anubis caught my eye. I was walking through the boutique stalls at Modavia Fashion Week and a splash of lime caught my eye. Then it dragged me over and made me buy this dress. After being forced to buy the dress by a color, it’s a good thing I like it! The sweater details over the lime top are spot on.

I decided to hang out at the record shop and show it off. It’s an ideal dress for music and dancing, so the record shop at Virtual Decay made sense to me.

Now You See It

AlaFolie is one of the wonderful stores features at Modavia Fashion Week. The magnificent Farfalla dress set is an amazing collection with one dress, three skirt lengths – each wearable with or without the jacket for six options, and incidentally (or accidentally), with one of the jacket prims for a total of nine possible looks. This picture shows you the tea length version with and without the jacket.

Taking off the jacket system piece and sleeves, but keeping the remaining jacket prim gives me a baby doll tea length dress. On the right, you can see the short dress length.

Elven Rituals Unveiled – Shocking NEWS!

My friend Elusyve is always talking about these strange elf rituals, house cleaning, vacuuming, buying new vacuums…….just really out there stuff that doesn’t even compute for this Barbie doll. Honestly, most of the time the stuff she is saying is just buzzes and clicks to me. Continue reading

Props for Poses

I love furniture and houses that have some poses built in and wanted to show you some of the lovely poses in Y’s Omake house and furniture. I am wearing a casual outfit featuring elements from Project Donate for UNICEF, Designers United and Hair Fair – a few of the events that are going on now.

I want to give props to the poses in Y’s houses and furnishing. I could not resist the beautiful windowseat full of poses that make the Omake house such a wonder.

And the Fabbie goes to….Ashia Tomsen
So many people are doing outstanding jobs of featuring the many hair styles released at the Hair Fair that I never thought I would be singling one out for special attention, but after seeing the creative photos Ashia Tomsen produced for her blog post about The Stringer Mausoleum, I just have to say that they are Fabulous!!! Please click through and see the others, too.

Venus In Exile

posted by Gidge Uriza
It’s a quickie today but I’ve been sitting on this shoot of the gorgeous Hair Fair release from Exile for days.
And it wanted out.
I think that if you read me enough you know that it is just about girly enough to make me drool in RL.
I’m also wearing one of the CHLOE skins from Exile, which is a very delicate and pretty face.
Now, it’s Friday! Have a great weekend! I mean it!
