I mean, how can you WIN if you don’t rack up achievements? Welcome to the first installment of – THE SECOND LIFE FASHIONISTA ACHIEVEMENTS. Have you unlocked these yet? Continue reading

Cajsa Fast Five: March 15th
Today is the eventful in a different sense of the word. It’s full of events, so perhaps it’s “eventfull.” There’s the opening of Skin Fair and The Boutique, the deadline for the hottest photo contest in town, and Fashion For Life moving toward its too-soon closing on Sunday. And that’s not all!
- The Magic of Oz and the Frustration of Mesh: Carrie Lexington muses about the changes mesh has brought to Second Life and it’s not what you think. She has an interesting perspective and one that many will identify with. Continue reading

If it were not tacky to highlight something from our own blog, I would tell you to read Gidge’s 7 Facts or Opinions for Berry’s meme because it is honest and funny as hell, but it probably is tacky, so I won’t tell you to GO NOW and READ Gidge’s 7 Facts or Opinions.
- Whiskey Monday: The Connecting: 365 SL Lives project is a wonderful glimpse into the people we encounter in Second Life. I have admired Whiskey Monday’s art and writing and love getting her perspective on SL, how she experiences it and what it means to her.

Today we catch a meme, an updated version of a popular avatar, and lots of pretty pictures.
- My Seven SL Facts Meme: If you have not noticed, Strawberry Singh kicked off a meme that is spreading like wildfire. Be sure to go to her post, not just for the original 7 Facts, but for the trackbacks from all the folks who are participating and collect all the facts. Continue reading
Go Climb A Tree
I am a sucker for houses on stilts. This tree house built by Cory Edo of Trompe Loeil is two fun things in one – a house on stilts AND a tree house. With a huge tree growing under and out from the cottage, it’s charming and unique. I was playing with the color changes of the leaves while I took snaps. I love that you can change them. If you are like me and like to keep house based on the seasons, that’s handy. Continue reading

Gidge’s Fast Five: March 10
I am all over the place today with my Fast Five. I don’t tend to have a lot of free time to read blogs since my RL is crazytown more often that not, but when I do, I hop all over looking for nuggets to inspire me or make me want to shop. Continue reading
Cajsa Fast Five: March 9th
Today we have adorable, cute, sweet and angelic photos. I must be in the mood for fashion candy today. Speaking of candy, there’s a post about The Arcade’s contretemps over selling Gacha items and for eye candy (not the kind you’re thinking) a photostream that may win your heart.
- The Fashion Freebie Fish: Dita Actor features an adorable dress for the upcoming Bunny Hunt with a lovely photo. She provides links to more info about the hunt.
- Kat No. 127: Katuehh Adderstein showcases a cute casual outfit with some fab accessories and reports on the opening of the Insight Forest gallery yesterday. I went to the gallery and really loved it, not just for the great art, but the beautifully executed exhibition space.
- Ice Cream: So this is only the second post on this blog from Ingkeu Soonkyu (Ink) but what a great start. Full of info and GACHA items with a fresh, friendly writing style. I love her styling and her attention to details.
- The Arcade’s Latest SL Event Soured by a Virtual Property Rights Drama: Iris Ophelia tackles the controversy surrounding the yard sales that have grown up to facilitate buying and selling extra Arcade items that people end up with when trying to get that one thing they must have.
- Craigcoen’s Photostream: So it’s not a post, just browse for a while and fall in love with Second Life again.
Cajsa Fast Five: March 8th
Today’s Fast Five includes a fabulous real life/Second Life art gallery opening. You will want to dress up to attend the SL show so the RL folks can marvel at your style. A blogger is back from six month hiatus and there are great photos to check out.
- Uberverse: Art From a Virtual World. Ballarat Art Space in Ballarat, just north of Melbourne, Australia is opening a showing of Second Life art. The opening event is 9:00PM – midnight SLT on Friday 8 March at b1 sky gallery and will be streamed onto a big screen in the RL gallery.
- The Body Was Willing: Caoimhe Lionheart’s photo for this post are stunning. She is a great stylist and the bold use of light to blow out these photos make this an almost impressionistic explosion of color.
- Siren’s Song: With the release of the amazing sirens from The Erare Project, there have been many mermaid photos. Shawneese Offcourse does an exceptionally sexy and dangerously alluring siren.
- Play Ball: Cherryblossoms Resident has a cute, playful outfit that would make her the chicest basketball player in the universe. I love her boots.
- Brushed Chiffon: Lily Eggstar is back to blogging after a six-month hiatus. She has not lost her skills one tiny bit.
Cajsa Fast Five: March 7th

Five great posts today! From high concept couture to cute and cozy, there’s a lot of variety. The non-fashion posts include a good tutorial and an example of amazing self-awareness and self-examination.
- Thanatos: This is one for the guys. Carthalis Rossini shows off some new skins from The Men’s Department that are so striking and high concept that they make me want to see something similar for women.
- Roxi Bluewood: Roxi Bluewood contributes a brutally honest self-examination to the Connecting: 365 SL Lives project. If only we could all be so honest with ourselves.
- Tips & Tricks: Winning the Inventory Cleanup Battle: Hamlet Au wrote and article for New World Notes after reading this extensive and comprehensive tutorial on inventory cleanup. Hamlet points out that the difficult work of managing our inventory is another reason to charge for excessive inventories. I will leave that debate to the comments on his article, but I did want to encourage folks to check out the tutorial.
- Persephone: Dantelicia Ethaniel’s post features a beautiful and moving picture. I always am excited to see what she posts because she is the most free and experimental of all SL fashion photographers and bloggers.
- Simplicity: Naraelina Ordinary’s post is adorable. I love the photo and the epistolatory format of her post. It feels like getting a letter from an old friend, cosy, confiding and casual.
