With so many things going on this weekend, I decided I wanted mellow shopping day without too many crowds or lag to disrupt my experience. But first, I had to get a touch up at the aesthetician to make sure I was cute in case I ran into any of the fashion mafia.

I am a sucker for houses on stilts. This tree house built by Cory Edo of Trompe Loeil is two fun things in one – a house on stilts AND a tree house. With a huge tree growing under and out from the cottage, it’s charming and unique. I was playing with the color changes of the leaves while I took snaps. I love that you can change them. Sasy Scarborough who organized My Attic at The Deck invited me over for a peek about 30 minutes before the event opened and pointed to this dress and said, “You will like this, look at the shoulders.” Well, I finally got back to go buy it the other day and here I am wearing it with only a few hours before it closes. The dress is sleek and stylish and it does have beautifully shaped shoulders with silver studs. I don’t know why, but it got me hauling out the breastplate and other pieces of the Hydra set from Rozoregalia to push it from the Pop theme to a more hard edged Rock and Roll feel.

I had just wrapped up my FLF shopping when Sasy insisted I come out and be festive for a while. Her suggestion for festive was to start at Bewbapalooza or however it’s spelled. It’s a sale event (I dunno if discounted) for the wearers of the mesh boobs. It’s also carnival themed and Whimsy played the strong man game and won me a popsicle. YAY POPSICLE.
Anessa Stine joined us and fondled her boobs as we wandered around looking at the items.

We popped over to the Men’s Department sale next and while Whimsy oooo’d over kilts (and the lack of underwear beneath I think) I grabbed the free gift from Handverk – a red scale clutch. My quest to make a Linden home adorable is NEVER ending. I had furniture delivered while I was gone, and when I arrived home I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. I picked up the Andel set from Cheeky Pea at Collabor88 and I didn’t get all of it, now I feel silly and will have to do, I’ve reduced my prim count so much that I am reconsidering other furniture now.
I am going to end up with the cutest Linden house ever. I wonder if they have a Home Show? Continue reading
