Okay, so it’s leopard, not panther, but I can’t help it that that song pops into my head when I wear this skirt. Not that I complain, that song takes me to a happy place. Which is why I felt like wearing this happy, joyful and exuberant skirt from Thimbles – a store that always makes me smile and seems to exude such joie d’vivre that I am sure Thimbles designer Apatia Hammerer is Mary Poppin’s great-granddaughter.
Not only is this a happy skirt, it’s a well-made one. Look at the smooth transition from the system clothing to the prim. Wait, you can’t look because you can’t see where it is. Well, slight exaggeration, but you get my drift.
With the skirt I am wearing this smexeh sheer ruffled blouse from Mischief. It’s very sheer, showing the wonderful Beauty Avatar bra underneath. Like I said, smexeh. The black pearl drop necklace from Persona is an elegant and simple way to draw eyes to the plunging ruffled neckline. Mmmm.
Earrings from DeLa have the same vibrant pink as the skirt and the makeup from Tuli is bold enough that the bright earrings don’t overpower it.
And with such a bold outfit, who should I turn to for shoes? Digit Darkes of course. She knows where to find that line between exuberant and garish, between bold and gaudy and she knows how to dance wild tangos and paso dobles along that line without ever crossing over. Well, maybe she crosses over sometimes, but if she ever did, she called in Harvey Keitel (the Wolf) to clean it up because there’s no trace of evidence.
