I headed off to the Mother Road for this shoot. The outfit is more contemporary than the vintage aesthetic of The Mother Road, but the colors made me think of that time period, so I went with it.

Back before there were gay people (wink), my Uncle George was a CONFIRMED OLD BACHELOR. I don’t know if you are old enough to have ever KNOWN a CONFIRMED OLD BACHELOR, but they are men of a certain age who never married. They tend to live alone or with a “friend” who is a border or roommate. They often travel together.
My Uncle George was such a Confirmed Old Bachelor.
He traveled to Cuba to gamble in the 30s and flew to South America to travel the Amazon with his friend Hal. They also loved to visit San Francisco. They lived for a while in Los Angeles where Uncle George was a hairstylist at “FOX” as he would say. He worked there through the war and beyond, only returning home when he had a huge novel of delicious Hollywood gossip and intrigue he could share when you visited him.

I really only had one thing to say when I saw the SANA release from Adam N Eve for Fantasy Faire. Pink? Sparkly? Makes my ass look fantastic?

Funny story.
The second place I ever lived in SL was called Sana. A friend bought it and I moved there living on part of a huge swath of land he’d purchased. Across the waterway, there was a big house that he’d bought for all his, ahem – girls. He said have fun decorate your house and we’ll all live in peace an harmony.
Which was all good till about a week later when he came over and said “Gidge, I love your house, but the girls say they can’t rezz any objects. And I looked – and you’re using four thousand prims.”
To which I said “What are prims?”
Good times…………..

Where to get it? Mostly – Fantasy Faire!
This is a quickie because despite trying to find a thing or two or three on marketplace, all I could find were rape shacks and pubic hair.
But, I got inspired by the pretty flowers on the Spring Breeze tank from COOL BEANS and it was a flowery look that came together.
I love the store name. One of my best friends says COOL BEANS so much, that we added Beans to her name – constantly calling her CHRISTA-BEANS.
I’m sure that never bothered her AT ALL.
