I am afraid you’ve caught pixel Gidge at her toilette. You will have to check back later for a snazzy outfit. However, she’s put on gorgeous new mesh hair from Wasabi Pills. I’ve got to say, Wasabi Pills is certain blowing it out with mesh the past few weeks. I continue to be in love.

For fun I’m wearing a towel wrap from Leri Miles designs. Don’t wanna leave puddles on the floor with all this wet pixel nakedness.

ChouChou has returned for a short time and I popped over to check it out. I opted to adopt their region windlight settings to see it as they wanted it to be seen. It sure is dramatic, though you cannot see my outfit. I wandered around and then noticed that their other sims were open, too, so I popped over to Babel.

Babel is also very dramatic with a seemingly never-ending stairway with lots of boxes – each with a short measure of music that affects the play of music as you climb the stairs. This is a sim that you simply must have your sound turned up so you can experience it at its best. I was wearing a sweater from Diapop for Back 2 Black – the awareness campaign for mental health issues. This sweater focuses on comfort and it really is a comfy sweater, isn’t it?

My beloved friends Kesseret, Cajsa and Codebastard Redgrave threw me an epic rezz day party last night at Rouge that went on till nigh 4am time. Truly it was way past three when I crawled into my bed. I would venture that nearly all of the people I love came and it was such an amazing surprise, I can’t say THANK YOU to you guys ENOUGH. It is making me smile even now – and I can’t remember the last time I laughed that hard in SL.

You guys are amazing friends.

So, what do you wear to a surprise Rezz day party? Well – I wore that pink dress above from Sascha’s Designs! I had those shoes from G Field in like two other colors and needed shoes for the dress so….I just bought them in pink! I love these shoes. They aren’t new but damn they are girly. Continue reading →

Facepalming and New Hair

My pixel day started simply enough. Handwash some lingerie for Valentines Day and hang it up to dry, and then I thought “Oh Self, I’ll try out this new mesh hair from Exile and from Truth.” Because you know new hair = happy girl.

So I put on three new hairs that Exile has released, including Domino which is for the Juicy “Crush On You” event, and I was very oooo new mesh hair omg love it happy.

You know. You do it too so SHUT UP.

And then I put on my new Truth hair. And one went on nicely, and ONE DIDN’T. And not matter what I DID IT DIDN’T WORK. There were tears. There was invisible hair. I switched viewers. I switched back again. So I plurked it. After much discussion it seemed that a lot of the fashionistas were finding the Truth hair to be invisible. THIS SEEMED WRONG.

Until our friend Skittles piped up and said “You have to ADD the mesh and the Flexi.”

FACEPALM. 

Yes the new Truth Hair JANEY you Wear one-either the flexi or the mesh, THEN ADD the other they go together. Yeah my avatar just turned five. Not my first day.

Janey is on the left, and is worth the facepalm. Totally.

Also I’ve been cruising marketplace. The Lingerie is FREE from Insolence, and you need the Candy Hearts Belly ring I am pretty sure. It’s like 10L and worth every penny. 🙂

The Love Gacha launched this week and so I thought I’d show you a few of the goodies. The flower in my hair is a gacha item from Balderdash and comes in a beautiful rainbow of colors!

I’m also wearing the cute baseball top from SN@TCH that Cajsa got, since I live my life saying MEH nonstop, she knew I’d have to have it. I’m wearing it with the yoga pants from Somnia which are made to coordinate with the top. And now I can do yoga! Continue reading →

Dawn in Pink – NOT PINK DAWN – for STUMBLEBUM

If you know the creator of MIAO – Kesseret, you know that she’s a gun lover of the highest order. When the Zombie Apocalypse comes, you’ll want to be at her house.

So when this new item for STUMBLEBUM was sent to me, I misread the name as PINK DAWN which I then translated as a kinder gentler RED DAWN with less Commie Killing and more talking out our differences.
