My outdoor decor is pretty limited, just a few shrubs and bushes from We’re Closed, a couple trees and the gorgeous deck from Lark that was released at The Liaison Collaborative a few month’s back.
Here is my Look of the Day! It’s all about the pink, which I think is appropriate for Mother’s Day Weekend. I always think of pink and flowers and spring and love and the birth of a season.

I wish I could do justice to this fabulous jacket from erratic. What you cannot see is the leather detailing that begins below the breasts and continues to the hem with rows of leather piping. It’s a stunning and ultra modern jacket. It comes in several colors.

It’s true, all that glitters is not gold. Sometimes it is bronze, silver or platinum. And sometimes it is a bit of all at once as in this gorgeous top from Fashionably Dead. The peplum top is available at Collabor88 where the theme this month seems to be proving that glitter comes in every color. I dressed it up with the bottom of the Kamille dress from Countdown. One of the advantages of combining mesh with system layers, as Countdown has, is the ability to mix and match which makes me happy.

Seriously, this is the cutest outfit EVER. I sludged through the lag at Collabor88 but it was well worth it. So many adorable things there this month. I’m sure you’ll see all these things blogged a million times this month but who cares….I’m cute as shit.
This outfit makes me long for fall. I was just saying this morning over on plurk how I hate that So Cal doesn’t have seasons. I guess I will have to be content with living out my fall fantasies in SL.

There seems to be a lot of drama surrounding NSFW lately. Is it a full moon? Are people getting end of the winter cabin fever? Are people just really this prudish? Are people really this offended? As you can see, despite having worn this dress for a few days while I ran hither and yon and snapped and screenshotted for three different tutorials, this dress has resisted all stains and wrinkles. I think it’s perfect travel wear and should go with you on all your journeys. The top and skirt are from Fashionably Dead and are beautifully made. I love the understated colors in these pieces and the rich details such as the floral print inset on the skirt and the little buttons on the sleeves.
