Last Day of Vacation Blues
I ordered room service last night and fell asleep without eating it. Nice, right? Luckily my all inclusive resort includes meals brought in, so I know there will be something waiting for me downstairs. I’ve missed breakfast though. This rainy weather just tells me to sleep and sleep, so I did.
Yes, it’s definitely lunch time.
I wonder how many people they think are here? Anyone want to come help me eat all this?
It’s a perfect day to relax and do a lot of nothing. I’ve got a good book and some delicious treats. I might even get some post cards sent out – like a proper vacationing adult might. Continue reading

Oh hello!! Did you know Uber is open? It has been crazy full for the past few days, but it should get easier now. I managed to get in though, and got myself the latest wonder from Truth, as well as that gorgeous top from Teefy. It’s sexier than what I usually wear, but somehow it feels classy on me. I covered my bosom a bit though, with a lovely necklace from Maxi Gossamer, she has regular sales, and this one was heavily discounted when I went.

Wander Away To Tempura
Since it’s not vacation if you don’t put on a swimsuit and do something lovely I decided to spend some time on the waterfront at Tempura Island which just happens to be near the vacation house I’m renting. Convenient, isn’t it? I thought so.
Tempura Island has been here for 10 years, can you believe it? It’s one of my favorite places for photos, and I was reminded of that today wandering the grounds. It reminds me so much of why Second Life can be such an effective escape for a little while, so much beauty is all around us and in so many forms. It’s a wonder. Continue reading
Magical Forests and Comfortable Boots
I decided to take a hike for my Saturday afternoon activity. CAN YOU BELIEVE that in an inventory of ALMOST 140k items I don’t own one single item called “hiking boots”? I, like you dear reader, am incredulous of this fact yet here we are. I didn’t own a pair and since I was off on vacation and CLEARLY can’t just teleport to a shop to pick up a pair I had to make due with what I had in my suitcase inventory.
Luckily I had JUST thing thing from ISON – perfectly suited to protect my feet from nymphs or sprites or bugs or whatever it was that is currently inhabiting this place I’m staying for the weekend. Continue reading
Weekend Get Away
I decided that what would make the perfect weekend would be to get away to the lake for a while. Trompe Loeil has released the Deja house which frankly is perfect for LAKE or BEACH and since I live on the ocean, I opted for lake! The open view across the front lets me sit and gaze at the lapping waters, and just relax without a care for a few days.
It’s perfect.
I’m excited for a few days off from my 2nd Reality. I’m going to be looking for adventure and fun, hopefully I’ll find some!

19/05/2018 – I can’t stand Paris
Anyone who’s actually been to Paris, I mean, really been there, spent time, will tell you that it’s not at all the romantic city people think it is. The smell is horrible, there’s dog poop everywhere, people are rude… Whenever I spend even just one day there, my hair gets super dirty, and I can’t breather properly. If you ever plan on visiting France, let me know, I’ll give you the name of a dozen other cities you’ll love, just, not Paris.
Someone on Plurk was saying the other day that they miss ETD. For those of you who weren’t around then, ETD (Elikapeka Tiramisu Designs) used to be a famous hair brand in SL, that disappeared for a while, and then the designer came back under a new brand, Elikatira. Well you know what? I think her hair now is just as good as it used to be, and the little number she pulled yesterday for Fifty Linden Fridays proves it. Janiah is a super cute hairstyle, that matches perfectly with my lovely Tres Blah dress.
