Yes, another day and an other Gala skin. This is Emerald with vibrant green shadow and luscious red lips. Thankfully there’s enough yellow to the green to make it not look like Christmas meets Face and to make it a good complement to the dress from ALB Dream Fashion. That dress, after the cut, is made with a wonderful puff of a skirt that is so modern in sensibility in contrast to the somewhat retro fabric pattern.
love the fabric, colors and patters of good “pop” 70’s designs. This dress from ALB while not 70’s at all in cut or silhouette, has a lovely retro print that give it an extra flair while it’s puffy confection of a skirt keeps in completely in 2008.
As with everything I have found at ALB Dream Fashion, you have more than one option. For a less dressy, more professional look, you can drop the prim skirt and enjoy the Pop of the system skirt alone. This has a more retro look. I have paired this dress with the dressy chic of the silk wrapped shank heels from Paper Couture in portobello – a perfect color match to the dress. I adore these shoes and have them in every color, I think. I do have to say, though, that portobello mushrooms are such a food staple here in Oregon that you can even get portobello sandwiches at food carts and fast foods and this color is much, much prettier than Portobello mushrooms.
I finished off the look with this deliciously Pop Art jewelry from EarthTones – Whisper N&E Black.
