I’m planning a relaxing weekend and a comfy sweater and faded jeans from Phoenix Rising exactly fit the bill for my mood. I added their very girly Spring Blossoms necklace and earrings for a bit more polish to my slouchy feel.

Now I am ready for the weekend. 🙂 Are you?

Black Goth/White Goth What's Your Flavor?

Delia, the new release from Blueblood was dropped on me by my now favie Uriza Cousin Ghanima and I couldn’t decide which version I liked better, the black or white goth – so I decided to bring you the purple of each.

It’s a very festive take on a man’s pantsuit complete with frills and a stylized mutton leg sleeves to lend a more girly and vintage look to the styling. I’m wearing some of my favorite big clunky shoes – the Baby Jane Heels from Sn@tch. Which, in my mind, continue to be the Typhoid Mary Heels and I don’t know why. I may have to rename them in my inventory just to be able to find them. Continue reading →

When I got the new releases at A-BOMB today I have to admit, the thing that made me SQUEEEEEEEEE was totally the bowling bag purse. I’m serious, how many things can I make this match? I love quirky accessories and even though I might not wear a rockabilly look on a regular basis, I was instantly so in love with the purse that I had to style the rest of the releases with it on the spot.  Micah Kanto of Modern Gypsy was good enough to give me his gorgeous Lady Chivalry sheath dress for blogging but I’ve been sitting on it for a while.  I just wanted something for it and couldn’t put my finger on it. Redhead Ballerina

I was feeling like a redhead today, and this ballet gear + the red hair put me in mind of someone I used to know……so……

I have a story to tell you. When I started on the grid, it was basically in a very small group of mommy bloggers – one of whom owned an island. One of them – after some time passed, apparently went a bit batty and joined a ballet troup – declaring to everyone that “she was respectable now.”  And had all her AO and Dance huds switched to ballet poses and went about in ballerina gear 24/7.
