Checking in at DG Innovations

It’s been ages since I have been by DG Innovations. I have a reason. Every time I go there’s too much to tempt me and I spend more than I plan. Still, by waiting this long, I was overwhelmed by all the new dresses. This dress, called Moon River, is not one of the most recent releases, but it was new to me and in the lovely blue and silver color combination that I love for winter.  It comes with a couple options for wearing it. This is the side slit, sleek sheath.

There is also this full-skirt with a net overskirt and lovely embellished panels of embroidery going down the back.

Wandering Wearing e!

posted by Gidge Uriza

I was wandering around the far swath of land which Silo and I live on – the one farthest from the house and most prone to squatters and another annoying types when I decided this cute casual outfit from e! (ecclectic accessories) made a pretty picture against the landscape.

Luckily, I didn’t break any nails or muss my hair cleaning up prim trash or ejecting vagabonds.

Oh My, Oh My, Oh Little Miss

A few weeks back there was some random muttering and plurking about garters coming from the plurkroom where Roslin Petion was preparing her newest releases for 5th & Oxford along with her business partner CJ Carnot.  Now, you might wonder why someone would mutter and grumble about garters, but really, that’s a sign of a perfectionist at work. And what a perfectionist! I am just astonished by some of the details and craftsmanship in the new lingerie from 5th & Oxford under the line Little Miss.  In this photo, I am wearing her Audrey Little Miss makeup and lingerie.  I love that this skin is so delicate and not hard-bodied. It’s very soft and feminine.

There are also matching slips and stockings. The color I chose is blush which is one of my favorite lingerie colors because it’s so barely there.

Hot Little Number

This is a great 70’s inspired print dress from bdreams with a down to there neckline. Recognizing that silk trim would not really stay in place while actually moving,  the designer placed some strategic strings to avoid any M moments in PG sims. Verisimilitude like that is always appreciated.

The stunning jewelry from everything’s-free Yak & Yeti accentuate the bright pinks with the tourmaline stones.  The MADesigns hair is chic and short.

A Quickie

I am not going to write an essay about how much I love this dress – not when so many others have done a great job of expressing their own admiration for it. I would give it more time if I had styled it in some new and creative way – but you know, I so love its strong shape and the look as intended by the designer – I didn’t want to play with it at all. So here it is – no bells and whistles, but still stunning the Kaori dress from Lelutka.

Some Editing Required

Oh, I knew the second my eyes fell on this dress at Lelutka that I would have to do a bit of editing to fit it to my avatar – because it is almost completely sculptie. I also knew that second that it would be worth every second of editing. Following the current trend in RL fashion, the fabric is sheer and ethereal and skin is everywhere. Seriously, is there a more tantalizing top that that peek-a-boo on the side? That’s the reason for the careful editing, to make sure I can walk around and shop and not show more than I want to.  Of course, if someone’s viewer doesn’t rez the sculptie immediately, they might see more than you intend because there is no glitch covering the breasts. You know what, it’s worth the risk.
