I love fabric with prints and patterns. I especially love the tone on tone patters like this print in Chantkare’s new Shirpa dress. To me, tone on tone patterns have a subtlety that multicolor patterns don’t have – but yet they are lively and add so much to a dress. This is a particularly brilliant example showing the effect of using a tone and then again, as though the fabric were turned to the other side.
It’s a quickie this morning as the real life is closing in. THE DREADED REAL LIFE. But I ran over to 22769 to pick up this sweater and shirt combo, which is a man’s shirt (HELLO MAKE FOR GIRLS NAO) but I just loved it so I modded it and made it tinier for a girl. Continue reading

I like putting on mesh shoes and posing in ways that bend my avatar’s ankles. Then I watch in fascination as the mesh bends. No, it never gets old, lol, probably because I’ve lived with sculpties for years, and before that, *gasp* boots in two prims. We’re living in the future now! Through the lovely Cafe Adrastea when you have a moment to spare. It’s one of my favorite places to chill. It’s also a really good backdrop for pictures especially when you are wearing cute new mesh goodies from Leezu! This cute oxford dress is a new fav of mine and it comes in 3 different sizes. I bought it on the marketplace and didn’t see a demo but I took a chance and I’m glad I did. No buyers remorse here!

When we decided to shoot a group photo for the New Year, the only rule was to wear something black. I had seen this in the Baiastice holiday collection so choosing what to wear took no time at all. I love its form-fitting shapeliness coupled with the sexy, center panel. It’s also a super comfortable dress for New Year’s Eve activities from dancing, partying to the family tradition of making sure the house is spotless for the coming new year. Thankfully there’s no oven in my SL home to clean.
