I am all over the place today with my Fast Five. I don’t tend to have a lot of free time to read blogs since my RL is crazytown more often that not, but when I do, I hop all over looking for nuggets to inspire me or make me want to shop. Continue reading

There Was A Girl Named Isabella
My mother went to college with a girl named Isabella whose exploits were always retold with relish and laughter, when she and her friends gathered. There was the time Isabella broke up with her fiancee and threw his two carat diamond ring back in his face. There was the time Isabella almost married a real prince. There was the tragedy of the time her true love died in Vietnam, and well she was never the same. Continue reading
Five Things I Love About Yardsailing
I admit it, I love the gacha yard sales. I call it yardsailing as I flit from place to place, looking for the items on my shopping list, the things I want, the things I need, those things I covet. Some things I love about it: Continue reading
Gidge’s Fast Five On a Freezing Night
I want to start off by saying that I’m cold.
I am in fact, freezing my ass off. I’d like to write a whole blog post bitching about how cold I am. But instead, I thought I’d spread some awesome and show you some of my favorite posts from the past 48 hours.
1. Katya Valeska does a nice job of capturing fairytale dreaminess. Pan was fabled to have amazing sexual powers so, you know, wocka-chicka-wocka-chicka is likely to make this dreamy scene turn quite sordid after the camera is off. Continue reading
While the Gacha is Good
I gotta admit I’m a fan. I suppose it’s the fun of the hunt, the elusive object we desire that keeps us tossing our lindens in the machines – desperately wanting the ONE thing versus the other.
I confess, I love the gacha. Continue reading
Snowbound
I had plans to go out and do some shopping and maybe have a little lunch, but the wind howling through the pines and the snow accumulating on my windows told me that I’d best order in, and make no plans for this wintry day. Continue reading
Too Much Purple?
The question might be asked, “What is too much purple?” Of course I would look at you like you were mad and question your sanity. Obviously, there is no such thing as TOO MUCH purple. Continue reading
Gidge’s Fast Five – February 25th
It’s time for another issue of The Fast Five I hope you like what I’ve found today that thought I’d share.
1. Grey and Yellow: There is never any question about the quality of the images Villemo Inglewood produces, but I was very fond today of her use of grey and yellow and tying her very chic and high fashion look to something as normal as a paved road. Continue reading
Sing, Sing A Song…
Make it simple to last your whole life long!
Sing of good things, not bad. Sing of happy not sad! Continue reading
Gidge’s Fast Five – Number 1
Cajsa is always thinking of new things to do to celebrate the things we like, and while I’d like to take credit for this idea, I can’t. I’d like to welcome you to the firs edition of FAST FIVE – the five blog posts that I found inspiring, pretty, made me shop or otherwise caught my eye today – and which I think you are remiss if you don’t see them too. We’ll do this column as the spirit moves us. Could be daily could be weekly could be ten times a day (un-likely).
With that, let’s begin.
1.OWLS – There is something lovely and whimsical about people who like owls. Owls are sort of ruthless predators who like to gut things then eat them. Yet, there is a softer side to the beast, and the people who love owls must see it better than I. Also places with random balloons can never be bad. Continue reading
