Are you hungry for mesh? Then you should run, not walk, to faMESHed. And yes, I still privately call it Fame Shed because that’s how we roll here. There’s lots of delights there and with some of the other events going on this weekend. There’s so much going on, that I put together this post with an item or two from three different events.
The dress, however, is even more special because it is not associated with an event. Yes, you get to go to an actual store! I came across Bilo at The Ashraya Project, loved the design aesthetic and the workmanship and went on a mini-spree at the store where I picked up this fabulous dress that combines the fit of system where with the flexibility and finesse of mesh. Instead of the old hated crotch flap, there is a mesh skirt panel that makes the system pants and top into a dress. It’s well done, merging mesh with system pieces so you can’t even see the join except from certain extreme angles and positions.
Here – from an unusual angle you can see the barely noticeable join – but you can also see that the dress is lined – so there’s none of that disappearing clothing when you sit down. The nails, by the way, are from Mandala.
The shoes are from Maitreya and they are old, very old. They are even pre 2.0 shoes. There are no alphas so I don’t care. I still love them and this is why my inventory is creaking and complaining. The poses are from Lost Angel – using the Window Display Mannequin, the black one that’s on the floor. It comes with 8 poses, good editorial poses as you would expect in a Window Display. There’s a fatpack with two mannequins, a stack of boxes and a prop set at Chic². You can also buy the individual pieces.
The hair and jewelry are from faMESHed. The hair is from Wasabi Pills and the jewelry from Handverk. I have been hoping there would be more mesh short hair and updos and this week is making me very happy. This hair style is chic, sassy and makes me happy. The jewelry also comes with a headpiece (crown) that I left off as not suiting this outfit. It comes in gold and silver metals and several stones.
The skin is from Baiastice for Skin Showcase – and I have added a Baiastice Makeup Tattoo layer over it. So there you have it, faMESHed, Skin Showcase and Chic² – three worthy events that you should carve out some time to see.
