Harmony and understanding are easy to find when you go to The Refuge and Expansion. I was lucky enough to go their the other day and catch a live concert at the farm house by a marvelous classical guitarist. And lucky enough to be wearing yet another Hair Fair treasure – this time from Damselfly.
Okay, I love Damselfy’s wonderful sculptie hair. It’s natural looking, it photographs beautifully. Nonetheless, I have one quibble. It is completely no mod – which means tht the occasional one piece of hair that just does not fit because of my shapes idiosyncricies cannot be moved. Can we just make a rule that all hair has to be copy/mod? please?
For this outfit, I started with the Quiet Thursday dress from DP YumYum. I thought wearing it as a dress was a little too much like wearing a house dress and instead used just the skirt – and brightened it with the bodice from a different dress – the Indira Dress by Aleri Darkes. I thought the bronize trim really gave the outfit some necessary pop. The Ce Cubic Effect Songbird belt worked like a charm – as always. So did their lovely crop jacket.
