On Janaury 1st four years ago, Cajsa started this blog! Around April I joined her and the rest is history. Please don’t look back at our old photos they are scary.
BUT – we are celebrating with a big brunch party at my house! Cajsa will be DJing and we hope to see you all there on Sunday morning. So bring your hangover and head over to my place.
Right about the time you’ll be ready to strangle your family we’ve decided to have a party. It’s a Christmas Sweater party but don’t worry if you don’t have one, I’ve got some of the ugliest on the grid and they’ll be free to everyone who comes if you are in need.
Because I’m a giver.
Cajsa will DJ and it’ll be the most fun AFTER Christmas party around.
So get up on the 26th and put on that Christmas sweater and head over to my house.

The #1 way you know that this is some sort of fantasy role play thing is that I’m doing things in a kitchen with pots. I don’t cook. I heat. My oldest child tells me that I make the best spaghettios ever and by GOD I think I do too.
But, the fine people at Le Bistro who have built this big store selling food items to role play family cooking with, or FRIEND COOKING if you don’t have a family, sent me a blogger sample so I thought, heck, I should cook some friends or something. Cold weather does nothing but inspire me to skin pixel animals and wear their furs and hides for my own comfort. In RL I don’t believe in wearing any animal I don’t eat – that seems reasonable to me, but in SL I’d skin your baby unicorn and wear it with glee.

My friend and fellow blogger Gala and some other people have asked me what is this Filtercam thing that Cajsa and I (and some others) have been on about lately. It’s certainly not NEW but what is new is that a whole new pack of filters has just been released, an expansion pack if you will, and it’s got the awesome written all over it. Of course – that information isn’t all that useful to you if you don’t know what we’re talking about in the first place.

So after Cajsa did her unbelievably thorough marketing pieces for Creators (mostly fueled by frustration- don’t get us started) it was mulling through both our minds that not only do Creators need some sort of SOP and content marketing strategies for marketing success, so do us bloggers.
This list is by no means comprehensive or complete. Blogging is a real time evolving thing. It changes month to month. Day to day even. You don’t have to write complete sentences to be a blogger. (see what I did there?)
Regardless, there are some things you can do to improve your blog’s marketing and traffic and I thought I’d list of some of those basics here.
First of all quit lying about not caring about traffic. If you didn’t care about traffic your blog would be private or invitation only. You DO care. The degree to which you care is what is going to motivate you to take steps to market your blog effectively, and how aggressively you market yourself.

For Wants and Needs I chose an image of comfort with one of my best friends, Elusyve. When I’m sad and shaken she soothes me. She makes me laugh and I can truly say she gets me.
I’m lucky, that my wants and needs often coincide in one place, love and friendship.
