I am not feeling overly inspired to write anything today, but I wanted to show you a few gorgeous things that I found these past few weeks, at events, stores, or buried deep in my inventory. I’ll start with the hair. I’ve been in the Truth VIP group since the very beginning of the new concept, and some months I barely logged in, or if I did I was too busy with other things to really check what the gift was. So when I found Ginevra, last November’s gift, I just went wow. The super pretty glasses are free from Balaclava, they were the demo for this week’s Fifty Linden Friday offer. Make sure to check FaMESHed this month if you haven’t yet, the Tres Blah dress is yet another little wonder.

I decided to head out for some adventure exploring today and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Kowloon was a really well planned out city-scape and I’m going to be going back to explore more. As promised, here’s another post about this month’s round of Uber, Biker Chic. I’m showing you other colours of the Tres Blah set, the adorable Lamb hair, and the flawlessly textured furniture set from Cheeky Pea.

Uber opened on the 25th, and I am sorry to say that my bank account didn’t like it at all. The theme this round is Biker Chic, and I will take 2 posts to show you some of the gorgeous things you can get there.
Tres Blah takes the theme to a very high level of cuteness with that dress/leather jacket combo. They come in a bunch of colours, all super pretty, and I just couldn’t decide, so I had to fatpack.
The muddy face and body, and the eye make-up are appliers from Izzie’s, available at Uber too, as well as the latest hair release by Truth, Panny, that is simply adorable.

I continue to play with the concept of Bakes On Mesh (WHY CAN’T WE CALL IT BAKED ON MESH?) and decided there was no more fun place to see what I could do than at my good friend Putrid’s place.
Putrid likes weird, and I like Putrid. It’s perfect.
I wandered around her club Sticky Fingers and was quite entertained to realize that my tattoos still show up properly over my “BAKED ON MESH SKIN”. I’d like to understand how the layering of all that works but no, I’m just going to pass and say WELL DONE THIS IS AWESOME.

The Arcade closes at midnight Saturday and if you let that happen without picking up the fabulous industrial pieces from NOMAD, you will miss out. The gacha has the delicious name of My Cozy Little Industrial Facility that cracks me up in the best possible way.

I wear glasses IRL. I don’t mind them, but I wish I could change their colour like I can do in SL, to match my clothes, or my shoes. Cae has a bunch of very pretty pairs out at this month’s round of Uber, it’s just too bad she doesn’t offer a fatpack option, but I did buy 3 out of the 5 or 6 pairs available, I may go back later for the rest…
My friend Isla who owns Cheeky Pea is putting together a small fundraising event to help her sister Stephanie pay for some medical bills her husband left when he passed away unexpectedly, at only 37, a few weeks ago. I made a special recolour, the Stephanie eyes, available in the Cheeky Pea mainstore for only 100l$ for 6 colours, proceeds go to Isla. Other designers will have some lovely things out in a few, I’ll try and show you.

When I saw the Tentacio kimono outfit for The Arcade was named Midory, I had to try it. When I was in college, one of my friends was a student from Japan named Midori. Midori and Midory are the same, when languages written in other alphabets are written in our alphabet, the transliteration may vary. She came home with me for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I remember we put on quite the feast with steamed cucumbers stuffed with pork, gyoza, tempura, and other tasty foods. She had a few kimonos and insisted on dressing me up in one of hers. It was very fancy and after she wrapped that obi around my waist again and again and again, I thought I would never need a jacket. So here’s to Midori, who, to be honest, I cannot imagine ever wearing anything so short as this dress that bears her name.
