I heard that cosmos are coming back. Honestly – did they go somewhere? I guess they used to be in fashion due to Sex and the City but while sometimes shows will introduce me to drinks, I definitely don’t drink them BECAUSE of a show. That seems odd.
I love to have one on a relaxing evening, or out with friends, or just by myself. They’re so delicious and a lovely, pretty drink.
It’s a perfect choice when I’m looking for nightcap, whether the evening is romantic or not.
I picked up this new eyeshadow at Izzie’s recently – she’s to talented. it’s such a tasteful sprinkle of glitter without all the gaudiness of 80s glitter eyeshadow. I reminds me of how we thought we looked, ha.
I’ve finally gotten my new LEL head where I want it, I’m really pleased with myself. Do you like my new face?

Hope everyone had an awesome, restful weekend. I’m slow crawling the grid as my internet isn’t what it should be but I’ve finally figure out how to work with less than lightning speed and massive bandwidth.

These heels were a must have this weekend at the So Kawaii Sunday this week, I hope you picked them up – they were a steal. My outfit too was picked up at that sale, definitely recommend hitting Seraphim to check out all the other goodies at that event if you haven’t yet – there is still time!
I also was finally able to do some editing on my new RAVEN head from Lelutka. Finally getting a bit more Gidginess to her!
I slipped back into the gorgeous curves of my CHAI body from Cinnamon and Chai and this girl is so curvy I do have to say, if the gorgeous well proprotioned curves are your thing this body is a win.
I’m having a drink this fine Sunday evening and I couldn’t resist some extra cherries. We live once, and if you like cherries I say you should go hard on them. ENJOY your cocktail darnit!
ChicChica remains my #1 favorite spot for drinks, her cocktials are both delicious and gorgeous. She’s the cocktail maker to the Queen if I do say so myself.
I’ve been rolling everywhere in CAE’s classic solitaire jewelry lately and I haven’t found a reason to take it off yet. With adjustable stone shapes it goes with everything. I hope she comes back some day and starts making jewelry – she was amazing.

I have to say I’m enjoying the peace and quiet out here in this snowy wonderland. When I came in today from hiking however, I found another couple shagging in my cabin! Can you believe it? I’m shocked. SHOCKED I tell you. Well luckily here are plenty of them here so I just packed it up and walked over to the biggest cabin I could find. I think this one suits me better anyway.

I’m enjoying another fine cocktail from my favorite Mixmaster over at ChicChica. Delicious, I say. Just hits the spot perfectly and now I’m ready to curl up with a book and watch the snow fall.
I rented a little place to get away this weekend and wasn’t disappointed with the snow and cold. I do love the holidays and my island home never is anything but beach paradise which is lovely yet – I long for the snow.
So here I am, spotting a polar bear cub and wondering where her mama is. I had better get inside I suppose.

There’s a lot of planning that goes in to putting on a perfect July 4 shindig so I had to get started early. How much food is too much? Who even knows?
I decided to give the grill a cleaning and a run through tonight. Stop judging me, some of that meat is for the neighbors. No really I’m very hospitable.
I practiced making drinks and sampling my own wares I have to say, these are delicious. I think I’m about ready for the big day tomorrow.
ChicChica had a FUN little group gift out for all you 4th of July types. I had to get one. SUPER cute.

I’m out for adventure today and decided that I wanted some sort of Safari adventure to happen. I found an interesting build which promised animals I could ride and lots of scenery but I got stuck in how cute the landing area was and took a bunch of photos there. There is something to be said for a nice vignette, isn’t there?
I have these new shoes from Ingenue – who is my go to for all shoes – and they are perfect for exploring on a hot day! They’re sneakers! They’re sandals! They’re comfy and perfect and exactly what I needed for wandering this safari landscape today.
I also decided that the time was RIGHT for me to check out Equal 10 and honestly, that event had some great things – not sure why I don’t frequent it more? Really cute things there were going on from folks I was NOT that familiar with. One brand I am very familiar with and a fan of was ChicChica who truly makes some of my favorite foodie things on the grid. It’s fun fun – all of her food is a pretty as it is delish.
She had this corn dog for sale and I tested the demo to check it out and of course – CUTE. I forgot I had it on when I ran off to take pics. So of course, I had a corndog on safari.

I went walking the Plaza Havana on a sunny day, taking in the sights and feeling pretty relaxed as one does in such a tropical paradise. It’s a lovely little build just recently set up by Geoff Quinnell – you may know him from the Geoff Quinnell Orchestra which performs in the center of the plaza. it’s a lovely homage to Havana in it’s classic days.
Although it was inadvertent, I was luckily dressed appropriately for this retro themed sim. I was feeling every bit of a 40s doll as I sought a place to stay. Luckily the Hotel Colonial had one room left before the orchestra kicked off. i came for the scenery but I might just stay for the cool ocean breezes and great music!

I’m cold. It’s ridiculously cold and wet outside. You might be tempted to tell me that this is my own fault for living on an island but I’d tell you to go suck an egg. I’m still going to complain. The winds are whipping and making my dogs bark incessantly. Plus, I got up early and while trying to get my breakfast together I sent a cake flying across the island.
Yes I was GOING to have cake for breakfast.
No, I don’t know where it is anymore.
I’m having a waffle instead and since I can’t have cake I’ll be angrily chewing his face off.
