Rockabilly Picnic

0511_004

Who does not love the Rockabilly theme that Collabor88 is featuring for May? And to show how perfect Lark’s inclusion of a picnic basket, we have The Fulminators rocking with Teddy Boy’s Picnic. In honor of the theme, I will be playing a rockabilly set at The Velvet tonight from 5 to 7 SLT, mixing classic rockabilly artists like Wanda Jackson with neo-rockabilly singers like Imelda May and J.D. McPherson. I hope you will come and come dressed to the rockabilly nines. Continue reading

Busy old fool, unruly Sun

0429_008

BUSY old fool, unruly Sun,
Why dost thou thus,
Through windows, and through curtains, call on us ?
Must to thy motions lovers’ seasons run ?
Saucy pedantic wretch, go chide
Late school-boys and sour prentices,
Go tell court-huntsmen that the king will ride,
Call country ants to harvest offices ;
Love, all alike, no season knows nor clime,
Nor hours, days, months, which are the rags of time. Continue reading

Luxe

0417_002

MiaMai’s Monica Outlander has just released her Luxe collection for spring. It includes a dress, top, pants, jumpsuit and long skirt with items coordinated to mix and match. Items include a HUD that allows you to choose the belts, ribbons and other embellishments so you can coordinate tops with skirts and pants easily. I am wearing the Kalia top with the Anya skirt and chose the ribbon to coordinate with the skirt’s print. Each item comes in solids in cotton and silk and in a range of prints. I love the thought that went into the print and color coordination. Speaking of color coordination, check out the gorgeous gold-tip mani/pedis from FLAIR for Cosmetics Fair.

Settled in For The Morning

I forgot I had this COZY chair from Fri.day and decided it was just the touch my bedroom needed. It’s a great piece for snuggling and unwinding when you don’t feel like heading out into your pixel life. It comes with three different blanket snuggling animations, as well and some regular sits too.

I saw this adorable wall decor from a brand called FOLLOW US on Marketplace.  It’s a little primmy because it’s sculpts but it’s cute. I do wish she’d release in mesh though, because I will end up replacing it pretty soon just due to the prims. However, it’s super inexpensive and great props for photoshoots. Continue reading

Like A Room Without A Roof

I was going to go shopping for a new dining table, ok I WENT shopping for a new dining table. But then I was bored with everything and came home only to go shopping in my own inventory. I forgot I had this adorable cafe table from What Next. Yes, it’s probably two years old, but it’s still COMPLETELY adorable and so,  my big front porch now has a lovely outside dining area. Continue reading

Tree Trimming

My Christmas tree from LAQ Decor was a great find, Sasy recommended it when I was casting about for something new.  I haven’t been feeling well so comfy clothes from Somnia were perfect for my rainy night in.

Feeling crummy and wanting to do all the things is frustrating. Add to that gloomy weather, and a general malaise and decorating my tree was the most cheery thing I could think of to do. Continue reading

Fall Into Collabor88

The new round of Collabor88 is set to open imminently and the fall is upon us. I couldn’t resist putting the fun, fall bazaar inspired jacket dress  I’m ready for fall, the summer has been one long hot experience. Continue reading

Why You Need The SLink Medium Feet

I am here today to testify to HYBIE and the rest of you nonbelievers. I WAS A NONBELIEVER!! I stood amongst you and said “I don’t even CARE about system feet. WHO CARES!” And then I tried on my SLink feet. And then people started making SHOES just FOR the SLink feet. And I coveted those shoes. And they fit on my feet and the Lord saw that it was good. Collabor88 Drops In For Dinner

I had just picked up this adorable manicure from Marketplace made by Alicia Chenaux when I realized OMG COLLABOR88! MUST SHOP!

After wading through the crowds of people I think I am pretty happy, after all, the 90s themed pieces released are fun and kicky, alluding to that time before greasy hair and flannel took ahold of us.

So many boxes came home with me, it was nearly tragic. Continue reading
