So, I went for comfort, but not at the expense of style, not with these glorious pants andd Untone Quilt’s marvelous cardigan. A lovely pink thermal top from pig makes it complete.

Fashionable Relay Challenge #30
How many of us thought it would take more than two months to work our way through the Fashionable Relay Challenge – and that we have is testament to the inspiration and guiding force behind the challenge Sasy Scarborough – and she will surely see us through to the end. I have enjoyed seeing the varied but always well-executed outfits throughout the challenge, but none more so than Elisabeth of Ou la la mode, so I was very pleased when Sasy asked me to pick up the baton after her. So, her outfit has several elements that I would love to build an outfit from including the jeans, vest, belt, hair and shoes. I ran around checking them out and finally decided on the Wide Belt Embossing from Coco because I needed a good casual prim belt.
Posermaker Appreciation: Reel Expression
Achariya suggested last week that we highlight our favorite posemaker. It’s hard to do because there are so many great ones, and that is why I have dawdled. Still, if I have to choose only one, that one must be Luth Brodie of Reel Expression.
Fear & Clothing
A friend of mine is taking a year off to live on the Pacific Coast of Mexico – for some sun, surfing and reflection – and asked for some book recommendations. Since I had put on these pants from Fear & Clothing, my first thought was a list of Hunter S. Thompson books. I really love the tartan pants from Fear & Clothing. They come in great colors such as this bold yellow and orange. I also pulled out my Spring Turtleneck from last Spring‘s collection from Aoharu. These turtlenecks have been on of my best investments and I wear them often.
The Best Store Name Ever
Waking up stiff and cold, huddled in the back seat of a rusted out Nash Metro that I pulled over somewhere off the highway outside Las Vegas, I stretched and squinted past my knees wincing at the light bouncing off the white sands of the desert plains. I grabbed my bottle of whiskey to quench my dry mouth and saw I had emptied it in the night and unfortunately for my head, I didn’t spill a drop. A Soweto beat booming in my head from the mix of whiskey, chips and salsa and whatever else I could grab at the Arcade, I crawled out of the car and decided to end this little experiment in Gonzo writing by rezzing the huge box of promotional items from Fear & Clothing – the best named store in Second Life. The first thing I tried on was this Sharkskin Red Striped jacket that I completely fell in love with.
