Julys’ round of COLLABOR88 is grinding to a halt and the designers are setting up for the next round soon. If you didn’t get through there yet, you need to RUN RUN RUN to grab your July pick ups at the great prices of the event. Continue reading

Swing Chairs and Kittycats
I spent 30 minutes looking for this cat this morning. I could’ve just used my HUD finder thingy but I have so many of them I never know which one is the good one and well, to hell with it.
Eventually I found her sitting outside, beyond what I “thought” I had set her roam radius too but again, all’s well that ends well. Continue reading
Don’t Judge My Food Intake
Yes this is all for me, but the caloric intake required to support keeping this mesh body rendered is outrageous. We fashion bloggers we have to eat a lot. It’s like the opposite of real life. If we don’t eat tons of food we melt back to Ruth.
No one wants that. Continue reading
A Bump In The Night
I heard a noise in the night and had to come downstairs to investigate. Sometimes my cats are so quiet I forget I have them, and I have to assume that it was them. Where Cajsa and I live is private, it would take a lot of doing to GET down here to us, yet – the noise was such a crash, I was certain I was going to find some cretin offering to to make-f*ck with me wandering around my house.
I was looking forward to an early AM eject and ban, if you must know. Continue reading
Gardening at Sunrise
I have a lot of decisions to make here on my islet, I want a beautiful garden and so I’ve got to get busy. I’m terrible at gardening so it’s going to be a bit of an effort. Luckily a LOT of the necessary supplies are at Collabor88 this month – so I was up early today to GET TO IT! Continue reading
Saturday Slackerday
It begins with the clanging of an emotionless metal heart. The banging and clanging wakes me from my otherwise peaceful slumber and reminds me, it’s Saturday. This is perfect because this means I don’t actually HAVE to do ANYTHING. Continue reading
Without looking back
At LEA27, there is a new installation called The City that opened on January 31st. Ziki Questi did a great post about it here.
I love its stark minimalist approach. It is a place to play with light and shadow.
It also seems a wonderful place to highlight the extraordinary elegance of Zaara’s Thalia dress. Thalia is the Greek muse of laughter and the dress has clear Greco-Roman inspiration in its draping. I had to ask Zaara if it was named after Thalia Heckroth™ and she confirmed. I have a friend in my first life named Thalia, too, and sometimes I think they are the best evidence of names being destiny because they both have a joyful laugh and both are animated by injustice to act.

Accessorize With DeezCatz
It’s always nice when Collabor88 opens, and nicer when it’s a Prom and they can invite guests. This round I’m ECSTATIC because Pink Fuel is there and not only that….she released LELTUKA appliers. She’s made them for Simone, however I’m wearing them on Aria. I’m a rebel. Continue reading
Mesh Head from Fawny: Pros and Cons
The problem with being a blogger is that we’re obliged to make things look good. We don’t want to be photographed looking BAD, so we fix things, shoot around things, and very often don’t show you when something isn’t quite as it should be.
Sometimes the isn’t as it should be is the Grid being stupid, sometimes it’s a design problem. Regardless, if we don’t share our quibbles (as we call them around here) we aren’t really being truthful.
When people tell me my avatar is beautiful, I routinely tell them it’s my job. Of course I look good. Which brings us today’s post. I’m sort of addicted to trying out mesh heads, and I think Gacha is a fun way to pick them up. I don’t have a lot of illusions about random MESH HEAD X not matching skins I own, I know this is a thing and I’ll put on a scarf or whatnot and make it work. I just like the variety and shooting varied photos with different faces. It’s fun. So I couldn’t resist one pull at the Epiphany event to grab one of the heads from Fawny. Continue reading
The Struggle Is Real
I had more planned for this blog post. I was going to write about reading and quote Edmund Wilson who said “No two persons ever read the same book,” but for some reason, Oscar is insisting on laying across my forearms while I type, obscuring the bottom half of the screen, and meowing in irritation when I hit enter, and making this a chore. I have pushed him aside a few times, but he returns immediately, so this post will be pictures and credits and it’s all Oscar’s fault.
