Or is it Bellisserian? I don’t really know. But I do know that it’s a perfect refuge after a long week. I picked up new chairs and and a new camper cooler and I couldn’t be happier with how this evening is shaping up.
I’ve got the grill going, cold drinks and popsicles. Don’t tell me it’s not summer. As far as I’m concerned, it’s here.
I’ve got a cold drink for you, if you want to stop by.
Isn’t that camper cooler the cutest? It’s from What Next! You need one!

End of my holiday weekend winds down and finds me back at home on Juicy. I’m not sad though. I’ve been unpacking – slowly but surely. It’s kind of cathartic to reinvent my SLife in a new place again, even if that place is in fact an old place.
I slipped into some new lingerie that you can find at The Arcade. It’s perfect for a cozy evening in, alone or perhaps with someone special. I personally still pine for my love who abandoned me for the glories of Azeroth. Maybe he’ll return someday. He’s the sexiest little robot in all the land. Continue reading →
I had to have the PINK Convertible from Consignment at THE ARCADE this month and as a result, my friends got cars. YAY for my friends right? But I DID end up with the pink eventually which is really all that matters.
The Arcade threw open it’s doors this morning and I’ve made many an addition to my SLife because of it. I probably don’t need more dogs in this house but here I am, now with Corgi Puppers hither and yon, looking like sweet babies everywhere I go.
2018 is off to a rocky start with a five-day stay at the hospital. I am home again, thankfully, and recovering. Oddly enough, though, I seem to have picked up vertigo at the hospital. I know you can’t do that, but I did anyway. So the world is a spinny, dizzy, silly place. It’s really odd. I can turn to the left just fine, but turning to the right makes me dizzy. I see political implications in this. Turning to the right is bad for you.
What’s not bad for you? The refulgent abundance of this month’s fabulous Collabor88 showcase. The theme is Moody Blooms, a clever pun that is overshadowed by the rich, lush, floral blossoming of creativity to enjoy this month. For example, this gorgeous dress from Baiastice has a HUD that allows you to choose solids or the gorgeous floral lace. I love the luxe beauty. There’s this homage to medieval forms with the lines of the bodice. I love the lace peplum, though it’s more flattering than the usual peplum by laying close to the body rather than adding lots of width. Continue reading →
They say you shouldn’t drink alone and I suppose that’s true, I can tend to get maudlin or too happy or sometimes both things depending on the time of day. My Sunday had a lot of shopping and some visiting planned but I only got to the shopping, so I decided to stay in and have some dinner and tv alone.
It felt like a great plan at the time.
Halfway into the bottle of red though I just began to feel like I’d wasted a day and maybe I should’ve gotten more done. Who knows our SL time runs so fast, it’s difficult to get to everything, or heck to anything some days, with all the body switch and head switching I do.
Sigh, I think I wasted my day. Isn’t it a terrible feeling? There was only one solution for it. Watch movies and cry. Continue reading →
I kinda sorta fell in love with the top and skirt from United Colors at Collabor88 this month. This month’s theme is Autumn’s Breath, possibly inspired by Mary Howitt’s Cornfields. Howitt’s big contribution was The Spider and the Flyso it seems a good time to shoot some pictures in my parlor and show off my shoes from Ingenue. <grin>
“WHEN on the breath of autumn breeze, From pastures dry and brown, Goes floating like an idle thought The fair white thistle-down, Oh then what joy to walk at will 5 Upon the golden harvest hill!
