One of my favorite sets from the Jewelry Fair is the wonderful mosaic set from Bliensen & MaiTai. Coming in 10 gorgeous options, they are irresistible. I wanted something nice and classic to show them off and wore this top from MAiiKI and a pencil skirt from MichaMi.

Beauty And The Beast – By Bliesen + Maitai
posted by Gidge Uriza
I thought since I started Hair Fair with Bliesen + Maitai I might as well lead off Jewelry Fair with them as well.
The Beauty and the Beast set is a very heavy weighted style earrings and necklace set, featuring images of the Beauty and the Beast in what would be a glass setting accented by beads and gold. Continue reading
Yes, Miss Stern

I found this outfit at Sn@tch when I was looking for something to fix another problem I was having – it’s a FACEPALM story but you have to wait for that. I’d actually seen Ivey’s notice releasing it, and noted that I liked it but when I got into the store and took a good look I realized it would be AWESOME with these boots I got.
I picked these boots up at the FEMDOM event a few months ago, they were free. I was lead to the boots by a boy on a chain. So you know, that was good times. Continue reading
Quick Look:PXL Creations DAFNE Hits The Grid!
posted by Gidge Uriza
Conceptually, I was going to shoot all of the makeups in all of the tones for PXL Creations new skin release, DAFNE.
However, I kept hearing that scene from PeeWee’s Big Adventure in my head “There are over 1000 ways to prepare maize, all of which I will tell you about NOW” and I thought you know, it’d probably be ok just to show SOME of them.
I’ve always loved PXL Creations skins because Hart’s awesome shading never, EVER gives me fat chipmunk cheeks. But he’s added gorgeous glossy lips on some of the makeups this release which is my addiction in both lives.
If I’m not leaving a big old lipstick shmear on my coffee cup,how will you know it’s mine?
Ok, RL Gidge has to go shmear on her OWN lipstick.
Dafne is now released at PXL Creations and she is GORGEOUS. I’m wearing the sunkissed tone because that’s my new addiction but there are several tones for all the different tastes out there.
Now, GO DEMO! (then buy)

I Know A Place

I know a place where I can go when I’m alone
into your arms, into your arms I can go
I know a place that’s safe and warm from the crowd
into your arms, into your arms I can go
and if I should fall
I know I won’t be alone

If You Have To Ask You Can't Afford It Lingerie

The new Candy skin from PXL Creations is soon to be released and as always, Hart Larsson has made a tummy that is deliciously femme.
Seriously, like three people make tummies I just looooove. I’m a tummy snob. Continue reading
Sweet Lovely Cute
Sweet Lovely Cute is the name of a pose store that Gogo introduced me to the other day. The poses are adorable, making it a very well-named store. However, I think the name suits this dress from Modern Gypsy equally well. I love floral prints for summer – they make me happy.
Whither Spring?
What do we want? Sun! When do we want it? Now! I know that we Oregonians are not supposed to expect sunny days until June, but I am getting a little bit tired of all the rain. In anticipation of summer sun, I opted for sunny yellow with this lovely outfit coupling a nice breezy sunny yellow top from Beetlebones with some summer white pants from Lelutka. While the texturing of the top is imperfect with a little bit of gray edging at the arms and neckline, I do love the sunny color and the softly feminine design with the dainty white eyelet embroidery at the bottom. It suits my seasonal mood – even if the weather outside doesn’t.
The More You Look
I love the scattering of pailletes on this dress. Usually paillets are scattered on super sexy ball gowns, eding the organza overskirts that float above silk or satin draping. That makes this very special because it’s not a ball gown and it has a severe, conservative silhouette. Now, that first impression of conservatism is belied by the the ultra-modern shoulder pads and the exaggerated bow in the back – but that just makes the dress even more interesting. Another way that the initial conservatism is overwritten by design is in the fitted structured princess seam bodice that conforms so closely to the body. This is one of those lady-like dresses that will keep drawing closer, more admiring looks the longer it is studied.
Fine Arts
If I were an artist, I would not dress all in black like the stereotype. I would wear bright colored prints so I could pretend that a little splatter was actually part of the print. I think this lovely loose and comfy casual dress from LeeZu would be perfect. It allows for total freedom of movement and would allow me to excuse a dab or two of paint – at least in a those colors – and seriously, since I somehow decided to start wearing paintbrushes in my hair, I am going to make some paint messes.
