Yes.. I know.. I’m WAY behind and I haven’t been posting and I’m a blog loser… but hey.. I been busy… Ok… so… I’m off work for a few weeks.. so I should be able to catch up.  NOW, week 19 of the 52-Weeks of Color Challenge was Umber.  And I chose this dress from House of Fox.

Love the sexy over the shoulder ruffle…. very soft and frilly to contrast the clean lines of the body of the dress.  Love the look and House of Fox will be on my shopping list for next time around…..

So I went exploring, looking for a place to shoot and was wandering around this fair when suddenly I fell to my death and was teleported back home. Not one to argue with the SL gods, I decided I would just settle my poor bruised bones on the couch and shoot at home. Besides, I wanted to get this outfit shot for the Same Damn Thing Challenge celebrating Achariya’s contributions to the Second Life fashion/blogging community,

I shot this to show you my favorite feature about my house – the swimming pool. The house is placed in the water naturally, avoiding the use of prim water and sounds. It gives it so much more life and the walkway down to the water is a masterpiece of perspective.

It occurred to me that one way all of us could wave a blogger’s goodbye to Achariya while she moves on to her first life writing career was to replay one of her best Blogger Challenges, the Same Damn Thing Challenge. I enlisted her aid in selecting the clothing that we would all blog to show how we all can wear the same damn thing and still look very different and she chose the Oxford Shirt from Shadenfreude. It comes in 30 colors, has three degrees of tucked-in-ness and should spark your creative neurons easily.

I’m almost caught up.. YaY… So, for Week 18 of the 52 Weeks of Color, we have Ecru.  I’m sure I have a lot of it in my inventory, its just not called Ecru and I didn’t feel like searching very hard, so I went to the Marketplace and typed in Ecru and found this sexy lil’ crocheted number from Indyra.

Teal, It's What's for Week 16

Well we have made it to week 16 of the 52-Weeks of Color blogger’s challenge and this week is Teal.  It is one color I have a lot of, but of course I had to shop for it…. every girl could use more Teal. *winks* And the shop of choice this time… drum roll please…. is HUCCI! RED! ~ Week Fourteen

I know, I know… I’m horribly behind on the 52 Weeks of Color Blogger’s Challenge… but I’m still doing it… so give me a lil’ credit here!

This weeks color is brought to you in a mix and match outfit I’ve tossed together.  The top is from FK Virtues and the shoes are from N-Core.

I LOVE this sweater from FK Virtues.  It’s very easy to adjust to fit your shoulders and the fabric texture looks sooooo soft and comfy and warm!  And the off the shoulder look is just sexy enough.  The shoes from N-Core, well… I have the fat pack and the color choices are just beyond crazy good!  I love that you can make them shiny like patent leather or leave them a matte finish. Every part is customizable too!

This post is a two for one! First things first – this weeks color is Emerald and this skirt from GL Designs.

The skirt from GL Designs was a sale item last week and was what brought me into the store.  The tight fit and high waist are just my style. And the texture is gorgeous.  For the second part of the post… we move to the shoes.  I was fortunate to get a valentine gift from Je T’aime of a similar pair these gorgeous pumps.  So I had to run to the store and get a pair in black.  I am forever looking for well made, good fitting pumps, since I love to dress vintage, pumps are a must have and these are perfect.
