The older I get, the more I realize how lucky I was as a child. I had two wonderful parents who loved me and never gave me a moment of doubt about it. Sometimes it seems that makes me an outlier when I hear friends share their painful and conflicted histories with their parents. So I am lucky. Even though they are both gone, I am lucky I have only the loss of missing them, undiluted by unresolved hurt and anger. Still Father’s Day and Mother’s Day are hard days for me. I miss them. This new crazy and fun hair (that the sushi IS optional with) is going to be at THE ARCADE oh in just DAYS! Can you believe Arcade is almost here! I kind of love this hair, it reminds me a lot of the days when people made silly things just because they could. Arcade always brings back a lot of the whimsy of my early days of SL to me.
I’m also showing off the amazing group gift from PINK FUEL. Why are you not in this update group? Seriously she included SLINK Appliers? HOW freaking generous is that? Eyes, lips skin and appliers just as a thank you for being in her group. Mochi is so generous, she amazes.

Yesterday Sasy showed me that she was already blogging this adorable casual summer ensemble from Lacuna in pink. When I got done weeping, because everyone knows I OWN PINK, I declared loudly I SHALL BLOG ANOTHER COLOR!
Well, it was something like that.
But finding a color named Linden Green was an easy leap to what to wear, I mean, how was I supposed to pass up LINDEN GREEN ? I also considered blogging this tank with all the various sizes floating around me, with the title MAKE IT RAIN.
I’m amusing myself a little much I realize but it’s early, and I’ve had two cups of coffee.
This cute little summer set is available from Lacuna at MY ATTIC for Match. It comes in a ton of colors and they all look comfortable and great for beach days or whatever it is you’re up to in your Second Life.
This hair, also from MY ATTIC from EXILE is called 1985 and I confess, hair parted on the left with big bangs and huge floofy hair is exactly how I spent my 80s. The only thing missing here is the brittle crunchy look we all had from having perms in “the back” of our hair. I’m not sure why we did this. But it was a thing, for sure. Kavar has improved on the style we wore for 2014 for sure.

And on and on like that. Sometimes we’ll have entire conversations on how tired we are of the trend of everything being brown. (Look around, it’s a thing. Suddenly everything is dark and brown at some events.)
Anyway, in the course of this conversation, the event CHINESE NEW YEAR came up. We both agreed that the Chinese boxes of awesome made by LARK were must have, and so even though she was dithering about going out I headed over there. The original landmark seemed to have landed me in a pit. From the sky, where I ended up, it seemed like there was a tunnel leading to the event, or a walkway or something, but where I LANDED it was some sort of poofing rendering hell where not only could I not see, I was disoriented and unhappy. I was going to go shopping for a new dining table, ok I WENT shopping for a new dining table. But then I was bored with everything and came home only to go shopping in my own inventory. I forgot I had this adorable cafe table from What Next. Yes, it’s probably two years old, but it’s still COMPLETELY adorable and so, my big front porch now has a lovely outside dining area. Oh my GOSH you guys the Thanksgiving holiday is almost here! I’ve got so much to cook and get ready because I hope to have some guests at my new bigger house this year! It’s a lot for one girl to do, but I know I can be ready before tomorrow.
Lacuna released two tone turtlenecks that are perfect for a cute look but casual comfort. I had made an early run to Casa de Shai for her new polka dotted jeans release and just happened to pick them up in a chocolate color to coordinate – PERFECT!
My cat leaves hair everywhere, I should hire a maid because vacuuming is so tiring. And now I have such a bigger space to vacuum. Continue reading
My Attic this month is full of beautiful floral themes and variations of the theme FLOWERS IN MY ATTIC. Lacuna has released a gorgeous set of shorts and tops that say adieu to summer in the most beautiful way.
And let’s face it, we can have summer whenever we want in SL so we can wear them all winter if we like. I love the wallpaper inspired shorts, I want these in RL.
