A few days ago there was a discussion of whether all the iterations of long hair have already been made. In other words, the “there is nothing new under the sun” argument that has been around for millennia. Well, take a look, and see if you think they are all the same.

Ison released three LORDE themed ‘dos at Hair Fair 2014. I like all three.  Possibly because I wore my hair like the one above in RL for about five years.  I was trying on new things from Collabor88 and this is what happens when a blogger has on too many things she likes. There I was, sitting in my own house, trapped in the clothes I wore yesterday. Funny story, I cleared my cache. Funnier story, it won’t reload my inventory. Or, wouldn’t earlier. Perhaps SKYNET has changed it’s mind and will give me my things later today?  The one thing it WOULD give me, was my SLINK BECKY head, and the HUDS to the skin I already had on!

Chasing Honour McMillan

Yesterday The Lab decided early AM was the perfect time for rolling restarts. I was sitting in my house, living my 2nd existence when I got a notice that I would be booted if I didn’t leave the sim in five minutes. My first thought was WHY IS GOGO RESTARTING THE SIM AT 7 AM? Alas, it wasn’t Gogo, she wasn’t online and then I realized it was The Lab.

I headed over to my studio, and got dressed, thinking I’d do a nice traditional shoot with a lovely casual release from ISON at Collabor88, except right about the time I’d gotten my wig on, again ROLLING RESTART IN MY REGION. Five minutes to move on. So, NOW WHERE? Continue reading →

Who does not love the Rockabilly theme that Collabor88 is featuring for May? And to show how perfect Lark’s inclusion of a picnic basket, we have The Fulminators rocking with Teddy Boy’s Picnic. Putting on the suit from ISON for Collabor88 this month, the wonderful song performed by Eartha Kitt came to mind. I tried to find it on YouTube for you, but it was not there. However, I found this beautiful interview with Eartha on love and compromise reminding me again what an amazing and vital woman she was. Even her speaking voice sounds like music.

Yesterday it seemed the world was about to end, didn’t it?
Looked as though it woudln’t last out the year.
Yesterday disaster waited around the bend.
