Oh hai! Apparently there’s a trend on Flickr that consists of taking pictures sideways, or with an horizontal avatar. From what I understand the goal is to get one’s picture picked as group cover, then one snapshots said cover and posts it again on their Flickr. I find that last part highly ridiculous, but just like bloggers referring to designers as “sponsors”, I guess that’s how the world goes nowadays and you just have to go with the flow. I do miss simpler times, when one blogged just what they liked, when they liked it, and once in a while would get blogger copies and would be over the moon with them… oh well, I’ll just keep my old fart’s habits and hope people enjoy my ramblings.
