I dunno who the brain is but I’m certainly pinky with this super cute new mesh hair from lamb called Crystal Ball – blush. You can’t go wrong with any lamb hair…seriously, it’s always really well done. I ventured to TDR Fusion and grabbed up the Wednesday skin by essences. I love her brows, I’m a fan of thicker detailed brows. Her skins are starting to become a favorite. Another new item for me is these gorgeous eyes from Ikon, they are the Horizon V2 – Pale Purple and I adore them. Hmm, I guess the designers of all the these lovely items are the brain.

Today is a good day for tweed. The sun is shining and it is colder than usual. There is enough wind to make the cold work its way to your bones if you are not dressed for the weather. I decided to check out an in world shopping group I joined that has a weekly sales event. Bargains for Babies has a Friday sale day, and several different shops have items for your Zooby Babies for 75L which is a steal.
I was unable to resist the deal at Leri Miles designs though, because it’s a coordinating sweater to go with your Zooby Babies outfit! Each item for only 75L? Sweet!
I’ve worn Leri Miles before, so I felt comfortable picking up both pieces, and I wasn’t dissapointed.
And since we both got hungry doing so much shopping, I’ll have to check out FLF later.

Tracy Rubble of Nzuri spent the past few weeks learning how to make mesh. She’s on my plurk timeline, and watching her learn to make these has been a hilarious adventure, and truly watching someone blossom through their labor of love.
She’d post for help, post her frustrations, post her “OH NO WHAT IS WRONGs” but my FAVORITE one was the day she thought she was done and the shoes were GIANT. LOLOLOL.

As I am typing this a flock of geese are honking overhead and I am wondering what they think they are doing. It is January, weeks too early for them to be heading north. I hope it is not a harbinger of an even warmer summer. That reminds me of a song on Donald Fagen’s recent album. The chorus goes something like, ” They may fix the weather in the world, just like Mr. Gore said. But tell me what’s to be done, Lord, about the weather in my head.”
Thankfully Second Life lets us find any kind of weather we want. With the geese outside making me think of spring, I set out to find banks of flowers and found exactly what I needed at The Garden, the lovely sim with a quest game. I didn’t do the quest this morning, but I did find some flowers and stretch and enjoy the sun. Certainly my clothing is perfect for a sunny day with the flirty little skirt from Tee*fy that I picked up at Collabor88. The top is a brand new release from MiaMai and combines casual comfort with great design details such as the draped top, pleated front gathered with the tiny bow. My pumps are a new release from Nzuri.
I dug out this fun and playful jewelry from Violet Voltaire and chose a fun mop of hair from Truth. See how delightfully the bow gathers the bodice?
My skin is Belleza’s new Ava. As always, Belleza’s skins are classic and restrained except this time Tricky Boucher went just a bit crazy and released eleventyseven billion shades of lipstick tattoos. Sadly, I can only wear one at a time.

Schadenfreude has a new dress out. It’s the Cry Baby dress in leopard. I admit that my favorite view of the dress is the back view! The dress works perfectly with these new poses from Ovation, the Cara poses. Very feminine, yet with a lot of attitude. (What’s with the title? It’s a quotation from Cry-Baby, which I haven’t seen in far too long…)
