Never mix plaids. If you wear plaid, wear on only one article of clothing. These are rules that are meant to be broken. Carefully! You can mix plaids, just make sure they are similar in hue and that the patterns are a different size.
I began this outfit backwards, staring with the green button down oxford-cloth shirt called Bricolage from Sprawl. I thought nice tweed pants would look good, but then saw the folder for these Barb plaid pants from Personal and went for plaid instead. That made me remember the Tartan jacket I picked up a Muism a few weeks ago and haven’t had a chance to wear and voila.
Then I added the Shiny Things Button Boots with the nice clean lines that won’t interfere at all with the leg prims.
I dithered between a fedora and a newsboy cap, but I loved this look the most, Argrace’s newsboy cap with the Velvety Bob.
The jewelry is from Dark Mouse – the Points of Light Copper and Garnet set in review pack sent to me just yesterday. A happy coincidence that they fit right in. Like everything from Dark Mouse, the construction is perfect. I love the garnet and copper colors and think it makes a beautiful necklace and earrings set. It was made for a shorter AV than me, so I did have to adjust the necklace.
The skin is from IC-Skins RIO Gia line – also from a review pack. I do love the fresh glow of the face. It seems so natural and sporty and really suits this look.
