Mélange et Allumette

posted by Gidge Uriza

Mixing and matching your separates and accessories is a great way to breathe new life into items you’ve previously worn, or worn differently.

Example – this Piper shirt from Digit Darkes I previously blogged in my hottie rocker outfit.

Yes I Know I Look Like Lisa Marie Presley
Now take that same top, change your hair and accessories and I’ve got a completely NEW outfit – simply by harvesting some goodies from my inventory and wearing them together. It’s also a fantastic way to freshen up your wardrobe for events and entertaining without breaking ye old linden bank. For this look I added Digit’s Tulle skirt, the peacock floof from the Bijou freebie gown Diva, marvelous pearls from Bonita’s and some modern classic hair from Diversity hair – Ember. All in all, a completely new look wearing the same top as the base!

I\'m a Dark Princess Now!

For the entire set of pics check out Cajsa’s beautiful photography on FLICKR.

Eyes – Purple Rain from FNKY
Shirt and Skirt – Piper and Tulle Skirt from Digit Darkes
Peacock Feather – from Diva dress freebie at Bijou

Hey Gidge, can you link to your “hottie rocker look” blog mentioned in this entry? I would love to take a closer look at that outfit!
