An early studio day has me questioning whether I need more coffee or what. My shadows have been wonked since about 7 am, with my shadows having shadows. I’m not sure why, but I have decided to call it art and roll with it. I can remember when it was the case of “some had shadows and some had none”. Well now I have more shadows than you.

I’m picky in my SL. Pixel Gidge is not low rent. I suppose I could role play low rent by WHY. I only want the best, the things I know aren’t junk. Because of that, there are some brands I will literally wear the hell out of, that’s because they’re always going to be high quality and I don’t even have to WONDER how they will look on me.
Take for instance, LUXURIA. In my little fantasy I keep Roslin locked away in a tower and she’s frantically sewing new lingerie for me to wear. I’ll feed her well but no one else can have my pretties. Luckily for you, that’s just a fantasy but I do covet her pretties very hard. So HAIR FAIR 2015 is going to be kicking off in TWO DAYS! That’s RIGHT TWO DAYS OMG ARE YOU READY?!! This is the big one, the one annual event that curls my toes and melts my butter. This is the one. Ok wait, Shoe Fair does too. Ok THIS IS ONE OF TWO….ok wait…

One of the great things I personally love in SL is the easy with which we can style our hair, in various styles of the same shade or simply be ALL OVER THE PLACE – whatever suits our fancy. Hair Fair is a cornucopia of opportunity to be creative with our look and a portion of EVERY purchase this year goes to WIGS for KIDS which is a great organization.

Some of the lovely things presented at Penumbra fashion week this time were bridal gowns. I’m not a big fan usually, so I was intrigued though to see something very understated and elegant from Ever An’ Angel for Penumbra and had to put it on. When I was newer in SL, my friends and I would often put on wedding dresses and run around the grid being mad and silly. This gown seemed to deserve an elegant backdrop. I think I found the perfect place for the SL wedding I won’t have.
It doesn’t have a lot of seating for guests but that’s ok. I might actually bring Gidge back over here for tea and cakes when she’s done working – it’s rather lovely in it’s amazing white wash of light.
There is even a fairytale-like carriage to bring me to the ceremony. Yes, this is a perfect spot.
