With the CHIC2 birthday event in full swing I found myself returning to an old love, a creator I haven’t worn in a while but I’m so tickled to have rediscovered. Elemiah Designs was a love of mine back when I was a noob blogger (ohai 2008) and so I was excited to see that she was not only still around but had released a cute mesh dress with a fun summer texture to boot.

I heard on plurk today that there was a Fibromyalgia Fair going on and thought I had a bit of free time and should check it out. I was really pleasantly surprised, it’s a totally CUTE little fair with VERY NICE items for sale from creators I had heard of.

I feel like I am wearing a sugary, sweet confection in this fabulous pink and white ombre dress from Nyu. It may or may not be news to you that allegedly you cannot wear opals unless you are born in the month of October. The myth is, they are cursed to anyone other than we Libras who wear them (or I suppose early Scorpios). Conversely, some say that they are simply GOOD luck to those born in October who do wear them.
