Tick, Tock, It's Soon Arcade O'Clock
The Arcade opens in just over three hours. December if my favorite month for The Arcade. The holidays seems to inspire such whimsy and grace. Also, since everything is No Copy for trading, it’s a great place to buy gifts. My outfit comes from Collabor88 items (except the fun candycane tights that were a Christmas gift from Alaska Metro last year. Sorry, I am an evil blogger, but not totally evil, they are on marketplace.

Arcade Is On The Horizon

The Arcade kicks off tomorrow and I’m exciting for the December round as always. There is something wonderful about this round each year, whether it’s the generous gifts the creators leave under the tree or just the amazing items to bring holiday spirit to our pixel homes. No matter what you love – there is a lot of it and more this time.

Studio Time is Cynful

I’m starting my week in the studio with the outfit I chose to go out dancing this past weekend. My friend Maht was hosting at the Velvet, and I hadn’t been there forever. This clingy dress from Cynful that you can still pick up at Collabor88 this month was the perfect choice for a night of dancing away my worries.

Not that I have worries. Please.

I do love the wrinkles and the clingy look of this dress. It’s wonderfully done.

Thanksgiving Wind Down

Maybe the best part of Thanksgiving is just unwinding and chatting with your friends. I rarely have folks over and we’ve decided that needs to change! We need more visiting and more socialization not less.

Maybe we will all work on that for 2018 eh? Who knows what we will get up to.

Whatever it is – it’s gonna be gorgeous. You already know.

It’s Thanksgiving Again

I’m double checking my RSVPs so that I know what headcount to expect today. I’m really looking forward to a nice traditional Thanksgiving today.  There’s always so much to do but luckily I’m head of things, I got started yesterday.

I’ve always heard that dogs are afraid of the vacuum but mine don’t seem to give a fig at all, it’s bizarre. Or maybe they are trying to attack the thing? Hmmm, I suppose that’s possible too.  Either way, I am just doing a tiny bit of tidying before folks arrive. Continue reading →

It was Thoreau who referred to his Thanksgiving as being perpetual. I think it’s meant to point out we should really always be glad for what is good in our lives.  I try to be. The day comes every season when you awake and realize the chill has crept into your house. That’s a pet peeve of mine, being cold in my own house is unacceptable.
