Happy Birthday Truth, Or SHOULD I SAY CHARLIE

So then, today is Truth Hawk’s birthday. We’re all wishing him a Happy Birthday as good friends should but, I had a eureka moment earlier that I think I’m going to have to share.

You see, Truth and I aren’t terribly close but I do like him. As a blogger, I can honestly say he’s the dealer of one of my drugs of choice, hair. Hair baby hair mama, everywhere daddy daddy….

But, I realized something today. Today is Truth’s birthday. Today is Charlie Sheen’s birthday. Truth lives in LA. Charlie Sheen lives in LA. I NEVER SEE THEM TOGETHER. And, obviously Charlie Sheen could not worry about losing that gig on 2 and a Half Men since he OBVIOUSLY HAD HIS SL TRUTH HAIR MONEY TO FALL BACK ON. Oh yes, I’m on to you MISTER HAWKS. I HAVE SEEN THROUGH YOU RUSE.

I’m not saying, I’m JUST SAYING.

George Michael’s song has been running through my head ever since PXL Creations launched it’s newest skin release, FAITH.  I opted to put Gidge in the freckled version of the skin with her favorite pinks and purples for make up and I’m pretty sure she’s as cute as a can be.

You need to go demo this skin, it’s hitting a sweet spot of youthful beauty yet mature sexy that I’m loving.

No Ordinary Cats

Well it’s true.  I’ve had all sorts of cats. I’ve had cats that were my best friend. I’ve had cats that were total assholes but I loved despite themselves. But ordinary? No. Never. Our friend in fashion Gospel Voom, the creator of those GOS shoes you love so much, has a cat that is also not ordinary. This amazing cat, named Archie, was hit by a car.  He suffered traumatic head injuries, but as he isn’t an ordinary cat obviously, he has survived thanks to some amazing vets. Continue reading →

My Universe

The Fabienne skybox is the latest release from Barnesworth Anubis for Collabor88. It’s amazing to me what architecture can inspire in a person. While the name, Fabienne, put my brain in a very salty Pulp Fiction sort of place, upon rezzing it and seeing the beautiful build, I slipped into a very different frame of mind.

It reminded me of the sort of place a kept woman would live. Lol.

It has a masculine elegance and with just a touch of feminine grace that truly reminded me of a place that a man would BUY – for a woman. Barnesworth is going to kill me now I can just feel it. Continue reading →

Bathe Yourself In Light

All of the best things in my Second Life I do with Cajsa. That’s no lie. Anything awesome and spectacular started with us going “what if we did ….” and suddenly we’ve got something that makes us both squee.

This box of light is like that. Cajsa had started messing about with projectors and boxes and  then we realized that once again, the symbiotic nature of our relationship fit together perfectly – she could build it and I could script it with poses and we’d have something beautiful. BOOK CLUB!

I am a little excited cuz I joined an SL book club. It might sound silly but I never do stuff very much other than work, and the occasional party so to have a planned SL activity plus yay BOOKS, I was excited.

My friend Owly has been quoting from this book for days, and eventually I was so intrigued I had to ask about it and then next thing I knew I was reserving the book at the library and then I was making plans to attend. Continue reading →
