I was going to blog this lovely gown I picked up at Culture Shock, but I ran out of time. Culture Shock closed yesterday and I am eager to hear how much was raised in total. Anyway, although this was a donation gown at Culture Shock, it will be available after the event at Vanguard, a store that features wonderfully bold and provocative clothing.

So, I will confess that the gown is more daring than I am. I thought it was missing the glitch pants and contacted the designer who confirmed that it was intentional. Well, pixel prude that I am, I just put on something black and short from another outfit. We all have tons of plain black glitch pants so you can easily find one for yourself if you’re like me and prefer less skin on view.

The gown is made up of beautiful lace with lush, heavy folds in the skirt and along the top of the bodice.

I added the Ballroom shoes from Mea Culpa. I love their modern details such as the chain mesh on the vamp. I wish the chain were not full bright because that forced me to use two projectorss to keep from having shoes that glow in the dark. It’s a small problem and easily addressed but I do prefer items that are not full bright.

My jewelry is from Kunglers – and as original and modern as the dress. I love the electric intensity of its colors.

I finished off with a lovely updo from Boon and skin from Blush – available at the Skin Showcase that is going on now.

As you can see, two projectors, one near the floor, mitigate the full bright.
