What to wear to the Ritz? If Sn@tch doesn’t come to mind, your letting yourself get boxed into categories that stifle, rather than catalog. For this Grand Entrance, I mixed two elements from Sn@tch with contemporary accessories that combine for an outfit perfect for a 21st century remake of High Society.  I was thinking High Society, not Philadelphia Story – so the hair is a lovely ponytail from Lamb.

The Jane Ruched Top and the skirt from FDC Apprentice, both from Sn@tch look very sophisticated together. For an additional element of fashion sophistication, I used a sleeve prim from the black top instead of the silver prim, tying the top to the skirt more explicitly. The shoes are from N-Core.

This is not just a gratuitous extra snap, but an illustration of how well planned the skirt is. Many system skirts do not work with any large leg movement, but with the ruffle at the bottom constructed as prims attached to both legs, there’s more movement flexibility than usual. Well, that and it’s also another chance to show the many poses built into ComPOSEure’s Grand Entrance prop/pose set.

The very contemporary accessories are a major asset to this styling, beginning with the fabulous belt from Lelutka. I chose this belt because it’s geometric shapes echo the pattern on the blouse’s upper edge.  The bangle from Uzuri also has a big raised dot – although black on silver instead.

Here you get a closer look at the earrings and the skin – Vienna, a new release from Chaisuki. It comes loaded with so many options your head will spin. There’s the standard hairbase and cleavage options and if you have tattoo layers, there’s three teeth options and a rainbow of lipstick options.
