My apologies to Walt Whitman.
Last Saturday, I saw Uma’s marvelous post with the My Admiral Jacket from Milk Motion. She is one of my favorite bloggers and someone whose originality and fashion wit brings real joy and elan to the feed. I have never met her, but certainly get the impression that she is what we call “nice people” in my neck of woods as her blog is always positive and a delight. When I saw that jacket I knew I had to have it and seriously, it was a struggle to take it off. In fact, I wore it in two outfits back to back.
Whether going for a retro Glam rock vibe or a contemporary chic or boho kitsch, this is a jacket that will lend itself to many looks. The construction is flawless with exquisite attention to detail such as the gold lining of the jacket, the meticulously straight and aligned epaulets, the beautifully braided cuffs and edgings, altogether, this jacket is a tour de force.
Note the beautifully made epaulets. I wore the iZa Boutique Deco Twist earrings with both outfits as the sharp geometry and black and gold suit the jacket better than anything. The hair is the exquisite Codie bob from Eshi Otawara.
With the skirt, I wore Tiny Bird’s Bea hair style. The lovely feather a reverse of the skirts dots. The fresh and lovely skin if Elizabeth from the Infinity line by Blowpop.

Beautiful. I can’t decide which I like better, the pants or skirt combination, though I’m leaning toward the pants.
I’m having difficulty locating the Sargeant Pepper pants at TOSL. Any advice?
Thanks 🙂

It’s full name is Tree & Ocean of Second Life, though I always found it in search under TOSL – you can check the slurls directory too.
