Sundays are probably when I spend the most time just playing on the grid, exploring sims and generally just having a lot of fun before heading over to the Velvet for Maht’s DJ session that I know will always be a fun and interesting set. This Sunday’s set featured singers and bands from Chicago – and it was a revelation how much great music comes from the Windy City considering he didn’t play any blues.  I dressed in a hurry for the session, but love the look that came together. Afterwards, I headed out to Sasy Scarborough’s new digs:

The jeans are League’s Woodstock jeans and have just the perfect beat up worn and slightly stained look for exploring and chillaxing. The top comes with that great vintage tie and is from Coco. The shoes are Shiny Things flats and the black trim on the edge is the perfect touch. The bangles are from Yak & Yeti on the left and +plus on the right.

This marvelous, fun hair is from Truth. The necklace is from Dark Mouse and the earrings – well they were a Christmas present from Brandy Rasmuson of Shine. The skin is Laqroki’s new Tess skin – part of the Glow Skins.

Now here’s a photography tip: hair intersections are tricky things – even hair as beautifully planned as this will intersect if the pose turns the head too far one way or another. However, that does not mean you have to spend time editing out the hair. Under advanced menu select Hide Selected and then select the hair, choose the option to edit linked parts so you can select a single hair prim and click on it and poof, it’s hidden. There were two tiny bits of hair coming out of my breast in this photo and I poofed them for a clean shot. And yes, sharp-eyed readers will know I have passed this tip on before, but it’s such a good one it bears repeating.

I took this sitting on the roof of the free photo studio at The Deck — just checking out the competition (wink). As you can see there are lots of stores to explore but well-spaced and organized so that shopping is delightful. There’s also a clubhouse where I am sure there will be lots of fun and good times – after all, Sasy is organizing it and will infuse it with her hospitality and good will.
