When I think of LeLutka, I generally think leading edge fashion – modish and avant garde, solid colors or bold op art prints. I don’t think of an English Country Garden. It was such a suprise to see this sweet spring florals – and another demonstration of how strong the floral trend is this year.
The feminine Stella shoes from DeLa are the perfect bit of frippery on the feet to set off this floral dress. One thing to note about the dress – the neckline and hem are banded in green giving it a sharp defined look and dressing it up a notch. Also, The texture on the skirt is designed for the old grey mesh and the tint is on the texture itself. It looks fine in this dress, though, because that’s a natural place for the dress to look darker and it lightens as it goes down the skirt. That’s two things. My bad.
See how sharp the edges are on the bodice? That’s great work. The necklace and earrings are the oh-so-feminine Rose set from Twinkleberry. The thick braided hair is from Lelutka.
